Stayed in Silver Gate cabin #2. We were very excited when we drove up to our cabin. It gave us a warm cozy feeling. Couldn't wait to check out the inside. Equally excited. Clean, comfortable beds, thick plush towels, and everything needed for cooking in kitchen. The general store would build a fire at night for talking and making smores.... More

We stayed in Silver Gate #3 for the second time on our summer vacations to YNP. The cabin has two queen beds, a nice bathroom, table and a decent kitchen, which we did not make use of other than the large refrig. This is a cozy cabin in a perfect location to explore the NE corner of Yellowstone, especially early... More

Be sure and sit with Henry, the owner - on the porch in the morning or at a campfire at night. Cabin was unassuming on the outside, but surprisingly nice on the inside. Tall, comfortable bed with bunk beds for the kids. "Annex" Tile floor, nicely decorated.

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom log cabin surrounded by trees and other cabins. The interior was all wood with a full kitchen. The accommodation was fully furnished with wonderful views of the mountains. Viewing mountain goats was possible but not attainable by us. Staff was polite and welcoming.

The website for the Silver Gate Cabins made them look much more quaint than they are in person. The area where the cabins are located is VERY isolated. Would not recommend, particularly for those traveling with families.

Very rustic, simple, bare bones cabins nestled in the woods very close to the Beartooth Highway. Housekeeping is good. The cabin was quite clean, the beds comfortable, lots of quality linens. Sadly, we had no hot water in our cabin the night we stayed although friends in a neighboring cabin did not have that problem. We woke up to two... More

Lovely cabins in a beautiful setting, we stayed in The Annex which was adequate for our needs and consisted of a bathroom with shower, living room/kitchen with a sofa bed which turned out to be a twin rather than a double :s and a main bedroom with a queen size bed and bunk bed. There was also a barbeque and... More

We really enjoyed our stay. We started at cabin #8, a share with a friend, and it was fine. But when he left to head back home, we moved to cabin #1 and it was fantastic! Charming and comfy--two full beds, a full kitchen, a nice full bathroom and a wood stove. They even provide little lanterns. Nice that these... More

We booked a cabin at the recommendation of a family member & we were not disappointed! Although the signage for the cabins is minimal & require a second look to see, we found the main office/general store after turning around once & then were greeted by our host with an offer to look thru his scope at the goats way... We stayed in Pine Edge 6 which has great views of the mountains. It's very cozy (code word for small!) but comfortable nonetheless. You're probably not spending all day here as you'll be exploring Yellowstone, so it's size didn't bother us. We liked that they provided battery powered lights in case the power goes out which it did for a... More
