We were looking for a place that would host 3 adults and 2 kids during our stay in Yellowstone NP. We reserved the Back Cabin but weren't expecting too much, mainly because we generally don't really trust pictures we see on hotels website. However, from the moment we parked the car in front of the cabin, we fell in love.... More

My wife and I stayed in Whispering Pines #2 during the last few days of September. The General Store was closed before 6:00 p.m. during our entire stay although the advertising indicates it is supposed to be open from 8:00 a.m. unt10:00 p.m. each day. I was looking forward to the advertised fire in front of the store each evening,... More

We stayed two nights in Pine Edge cabin 4. It consisted of two large rooms and a very small bathroom. One large room have a nice kitchen area (with basic kitchen utensils and dishes), dining area and bunk beds. The other room had a very comfortable queen bed. The bathroom was very small, the shower head had so much deposit... More

A great place to stay. I was in Whispering Pines 9 which was a little apart from some, by the river and in the trees. Robert and Vickie in the store are wonderful, if you are lucky they may open the big log building next door for drinks by the fire! Be forewarned there is no signal here or in... More

I lead photography tours of Yellowstone and Grand Teton Park and whenever I am working out of the Lamar Valley for wolf and grizzly bear photography I stay at The Pine Edge Cabins. My guests always love it. These are well appointed but rustic cabins like they used to make, stacked and chinked the old way, before cabin logs started... More

We had a great time at our cabin. The room was clean, comfortable beds, beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly and most helpful in helping guide us to great areas to view wildlife. We would stay there again if we are in the area again, and we do plan to return. A perfect setting for our vacation.

We stayed there 3 nights and the location is quiet and tranquil, and very convenient if you are visiting Yellowstone through the NorthEast Entrance. We stayed at the Pine Edge Cabin 3- the cabin was average, had most of the amenities except for a microwave which would have been very useful, though the silverware was minimum, and the cups and... First time I stayed here, but I hope to return for another stay during my next annual winter trip to Yellowstone. Doug (owner) provided helpful hints for wildlife viewing and was a very congenial host. Accommodations were great--warm, clean, hot shower, nice kitchenette, comfortable bed and a red fox on the front porch to welcome me home from dinner (Miner's... More

My sister, my little niece, and I vacationed this spot. The people were VERY friendly and inviting! It was reasonably priced and very accommodating, not to mention the stunning mountains all around you! The beds were very comfortable, and the whole experience, especially the owners, were just plain awesome! They also have communal campfires at nighttime that promise a great... More

If you want a place to share nature, this is it. My husband stayed in Silver Gate #3 this past August for a week. I really could have stayed another week. The staff is awesome. I wish I was there now with the snow, etc. I will be coming back next week. I might say that I have traveled the... More
