We took a road trip to Yellowstone last Summer and stopped at the Cowboy Up in Saint Regis for a couple of nights to break up the drive. Although just a few miles from the "whistle stop" town of Saint Regis off of the Interstate, you don't even hear any traffic noise. The stay was very nice and restful as... More

I first visited last April and became an instant fan of both the Roadhouse and the area. The landscape is lovely. Last spring I saw deer, wild turkeys, and several varieties of birds in the field behind their home. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and the starry nights are beautiful and calming, especially when the moon is full (I live... More

I am traveling across the US and don't want a pre-planned route. I find my lodgings the day before (sometimes the day of) my arrival. I was having a tough job of deciding which roach motel to throw my money at (I like to keep my hotels under $90/night. I don't need swank, but don't want bed bugs, either!) I... More

Staying with Jef en John was great. The place is wonderful, Jef cooked delicious and we had so much fun. The were both a perfect host and we hope we see them once again. We will stay There again if we are in the neigbourhood.

Not only was our BYOB cocktail time in their lovely gazebo interrupted by an owner who joined us without as much as a "May I join you?" but the diner marred by having the meal with the owners eat with us, without as much as a "Would you like to eat with us or alone?" Also our meal became an... More

My husband had planned our drive from Portland to Glacier Park and the area around St. Regis was a stopping point. I despaired of fining an interesting place to stay until I stumbled across Cowboy Up on Trip Advisor. Our night at the bed and dinner with Jeff and John was relaxing and enjoyable. They were gracious hosts, very interesting... More

We are so glad we stumbled upon this nice, friendly place to stay on our trip to Glacier National Park. We had flown into Spokane, Washington and rented a car from there. The drive from the airport to this overnight place took about two hours which was perfect for us. It is situated on a beautiful rolling land surrounded by... More

Jeff and John are great hosts as they welcome you to their large, contemporary home on several acres of fine view property in St. Regis. Large picture windows inside let you take in the gardens, ranch land and forest close by or the neighboring Bitterroot Mountains rising up in front as a perfect backdrop. But you don’t have to stay... More
