We were looking for accommodation that would be comfortable and from where we could do some day-trips in the area. Jeff's and John's place is just that--incredibly clean, comfortable, and welcoming surrounded by beautiful gardens. Each evening, following drinks on the patio, and a little appetizer produced by Jeff, a wonderful dinner is spread. Meeting fellow-travellers and hearing Jeff's stories... More

The hospitality is awesome. Jeff, and John made us feel right at home. We stayed in the King Bedroom, and it was very comfortable, and very well decorated. Jeff is an awesome cook, oh and the homemade dessert (Applesauce Cake) was so yummy. Both Jeff, and John are gracious hosts. The grounds are exceptional as well, and I loved the... More

We found Jeff and Johns place on the internet and booked it from the reviews. All the reviews paint a great picture and they were right. The hosts were friendly, they got all the guests talking and involved, and the place was beautiful. We stayed in the the room with its own bathroom and it was comfortable and quiet. The... More

Jeff and John provided a clean room, shared bathroom, beautifully cooked and presented evening meal, and a light breakfast for less than most hotel rooms. They also offered the run of their beautifully maintained house and 30 acres of land. They are polite and gracious hosts. I don't think you can find a better value anywhere. I highly recommend this... More

My Family enjoyed a visit to the Cowboy Up in early August 2014. Everything about our stay was enjoyable - the warm greeting, the tour of the amazing gardens, the accommodations, the views, the meal, our fellow guests, the warm conversation all of us enjoyed during dinner, including our Hosts, Jeff & John. What a great concept & what a... More

This is a great place to get away from it all. Jeff and John have established a very comfortable place to stay after a long day on the road. It's easy to feel quite at home here. The owners are so personable, and make you feel like you've known them forever.. The covered outdoor patio is a great place to... More

Gracious hospitality abounds at the Cowboy Up Road House! The gardens are beautiful and the view is spectacular. Jeff (the chef) and John (the bee killer) have a great place if you want to get away from the hotel scene. Dinner was delicious and Jeff's apple crisp to die for! John helped us pick out rocks and let my daughter... More

Delightful! Relaxing yet entertaining! Rustic yet well appointed! Delicious food! Gracious, intelligent & intellectual hosts! (Jeff & John pay for good reviews) Seriously, you would be missing a most enjoyable experience far unlike the bleak, all alike, run of the mill, drab hotel/motel offerings by not staying at "Cowboy Up Montana Roadhouse Dinner & Bed." We are looking forward to... More

We had been driving cross-country, sticking to Hilton properties which are always perfect for us when traveling. Last winter our anniversary fell during the time of the drive and I looked for something different to mark that occasion. CowboyUp turned out to be one of the nicest times ever . . . our dog was welcomed, the bed was comfortable,... More

Wow we're we surprised when we walked in and felt like we were in our best friends home. We were treated like we were home again. What a nice house and gardens, great dinner and scenery to just lay back and watch. Not your usual B & B. This is dinner and a very comfortable bed. A great way to... More
