The location is good for proximity to Glacier National Park. The motel is old and tired, but pretty clean. It is the least expensive of the hotels in this area, and adequate for a day or two. The is a laundromat on premises which was helpful. The bed was comfortable. The view from our upstairs room and communal porch was... More

We were stuck. This was the only place remotely near our budget. Had to have close proximity to Glacier but vehicle was too long for Going to Sun Road. We probably should have splurged on the Lodge, but alas. No. My main shock here was the lack of in-room Wi-Fi. You are invited to use the filthy outside deck near... More

Choices are limited on where to stay on the east end of Glacier. BUT the east end has great mountain views! When we booked a hotel, the Red Eagle was the only one available! There is a very expensive hotel in the area - but it was a bit pricey. The Red Eagle was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and... More

Looking for a luxury resort? Not this place. It's been around awhile and it shows, but nothing of that takes away from the fact that it's a clean, safe place to stay. The whole complex actually has the motel itself, cabins, and a campground. The best thing I found about it is Johnson's Cafe, which is on the site and... More

Just because everything else in town is insanely overpriced does not make this place any better. The Red Eagle should have been renovated 30 years ago. It's the closest I've ever been to staying in an 1800's miners cabin. If you you want to go back in time, then be my guest. The rooms we had (4), were all of... More

We arrived from a 9 hour drive at 7:30pm got our key and went to our room which is not even attached to the main hotel. The steps up to the room were all broken and not safe. The room's door had a big window in it so not secure. My boys locked themselves out but all they had to... More

We stayed here several years ago on a bike trip around Glacier and appreciated the price, location, and quiet. We could not have asked for more, and we were not disappointed when we stayed at the hotel again just days ago. Great staging place for visiting Glacier.

Water pressure was very bad...stayed one night, so didn't.t even attempt to shower as brushing teeth was hard enough. Views are great... More

Stayed at Red Eagle Motel during a family trip. Hospitable staff members were able to give me a ton of info about the area and its history. The motel and lower campground are 2nd generation family owned and operated, and well cared for. Rooms are renovated and very clean with fridge and microwave. The views from anywhere around the motel... More

The good: Location, location, location. The view was spectacular. Close to Glacier National Park (east side near Many Glacier) can't be beat. I reserved a two queen bed room was assigned the Grizzly Cabin. One large bedroom, one large bathroom, and a living area with a small desk and some comfy chairs. The beds, linens, and cleanliness was fine. The... More
