This is perhaps the quietest place we ever stayed in. The room was extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. Since there are limited services in the area, it was great to have a small fridge and microwave for breakfast. Hikers -- the drive to ManyGlacier/Swiftcurrent trailheads is about 30 minutes. Considering the other options in the area, the price... More

The cabins are located a short drive from the Saint Mary's entrance to the Park and a slightly longer one to the Many Glacier area. Very convenient while avoiding the crowds. The place is run by Nick and his little helpers who are very friendly and helpful. All in all, we were comfortable and cared for very well. The cabins... More

I really enjoyed this little place. There are several cabins all grouped together but spaced out enough that you don't feel like your cramped in. We stayed in #8 and were very pleased. There was no direct view of the mountains but the natural landscape and aspen trees near our deck were very pretty. The staff work hard to accommodate... More

As many others have noted, the cabins are very well located near the St. Mary entrance to Glacier National Park. Our cabin was very private, with a distant view of the mountains. The facility is very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hot water worked well. The electricity never failed us. The downsides of the facility are the staff... More

This was our "back up" lodging, as we had booked a rental home that was sold and new owners were not honoring rental agreements for the season (seperate rant). We were thrilled to have found this place and even more thrilled when we checked in. The cabins are very nice, absolutely spotless and the beds are soooo cozy and comfy.... More

We were last-minute guests at the Trailhead Cabins, looking for shelter in a deluge that prevented us from camping at Many Glacier. The cabins seem to have been newly refurbished, as everything was clean and comfortable. (The sofa was odd, however, in that it sloped toward the floor, making it impossible to lie down on. On purpose to prevent extra... More

We stayed at the GTC in June for one night and really wished our visit would be much longer. Perfectly located near the Glacier National Park east entrance, this place is super quiet, easy to find and makes for an excellent home base for exploring the park and especially its Going-To-The-Sun Road. Cabins are well built and immaculately clean with... More

My wife and I are hikers and we rented the cabins for a couple of nights to explore the east side of Glacier National Park. We were looking for relatively quick access to the St. Mary entrance as well as to the Many Glacier entrance. The cabins are located closer to St. Mary, but not bad for jumpin' on up... More

As a frequent traveler to cabins in the mountains we found these to be just right. Not too rustic, not to out-dated and not too expensive. #12 was our selected cabin and was quiet other than the glorious sound of the water right there on the side of our cabin. Clean and kept that way through out our stay. Three... More

Everything about this place is great. Fantastic location, friendly staff, and great cabins! Luxury feel to these cabins. After a day of hiking, it was nice to retreat to the deck to watch the sunset. Bed was very comfortable and the bathrooms were much nicer than I anticipated, and bigger than any hotel bathroom you could have. I believe we... More
