We stayed for 3 nights in the "romantic/deluxe" cabin. Were surprised to find satellite TV, but it was a minimum package so channels were sparse. Also surprised to find a gas fireplace - however the gas fireplace would heat the room even if only on the pilot, so had to open windows to keep the place from getting too warm... More

We've been to St Mary KOA 3 times in the past, staying in our own camper and their small cabins. Great place for kids, a tad expensive, but it is a franchise... We recently stayed 3 nights (minimum requirement) in one of their kamping lodges, of which there were two side by side. These are basically two mobile homes decorated... More

I chose this campground based on its location, our needs, and the value. We were at this campsite for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The cedar chips on our campsite (K-09) helped keep some of the bugs at bay (Tons of ants on this site... and, because the campsite overlooks the creek/river, lots of mosquitos and flies). The... This campground was wonderful and I rarely write reviews but I overheard a gentleman threatening the staff at this camp that if he didn't get a refund because his site wasn't level he would ruin their business on the internet. Sure enough, he did post a review. This campground is open for a short season, and is in the middle... More

When looking for lodging for 7 within Glacier NP we found the Rising Sun Motor Inn. While looking for laundry facilities close by we stumbled across St. Mary KOA campground and their new Big Sky Lodge Cabin which has 4 bedrooms with wonderful beds, 2 full size bathrooms, beautiful open dining, living room, full kitchen area, we had our own... This KOA's website proudly announces that they have made $1 million in improvements. However, what they have really done is add a lot more "Kamping cabins" and tent sites without adding any more restrooms. So, an already bad situation has gotten a lot worse. This morning around 8:30 AM when I went to use the bathroom, two people were waiting... More

This is about the fourth time we have stayed at this KOA . They made improvements and added cabins and tent areas, but forgot to add more showers and toilets. Adding more camp sites brings in more people. It is bad when you have to "go" and there is a line in the bathroom!! For Rvs and tenters without bathrooms... More

This KOA is lucky - great location and amenities to draw in the people. As basically every KOA we've experienced, most of the RV sites are lined up and close, but if you now this, you accept it. The area is not like West Glacier so it is very open with few trees (none for RVS) and the ones that... More

First time staying at a KOA Kampground and I liked the pool/hot tub as well as the shower and bathroom facilities, they were all well maintained and nice to have, especially after a long hike. The store was also nice, local Montana ice cream that we took advantage of having close by. My main complaint was that they advertised wifi,... More

The sites are horribly close together, but the fact that the mountains were so gorgeous and the pool was a welcome distraction for our kids. I loved the hookups and convenience, though. And the staff was very friendly!
