Rooms could do with a bit of refurbishing but the bed was comfortable and a nice view of Mission Mountains. No elevator to 2nd floor rooms. About a 10 minute walk to the town centre and supermarket. Handing for visiting the Bison Refuge.

I love staying in local hotels while on vacation and this one was no disappointment. It is an older hotel so don't expect a spa bathroom and big screen HDTV but you can expect an EXTREMELY clean room and for $75.00/night you can't go wrong. Bathroom was spotless and beds were comfy and the view from our back window was... More

Keep in mind this is a motel built in the 70s. If you are looking for a Holiday Inn, you wont be finding that in this little Montana town. Clean, friendly owner, and walking distance to most of St. Ignatius. It also has an espresso stand in the lobby. Nice view of the Mission Mountains.

Keep on driving! If you don't... check out the filth in the bed rails. We encountered so many crawling bugs in the room the kids were afraid to go to bed. The entire complex is in dire need of some major attention.

We stayed there one night in June to attend a local wedding. First problem, it was over 100 degrees that day and the room had a broken air conditioner. They said sorry and did nothing about it except put a box fan in the room. Seriously, not even a discount for this royal inconvenience. Who wants a room without an... More

We've stayed her many times when visiting our kids in St. Ignatius - very nice owners and very accommodating - they even let our kids come get our room key for our late arrival! Mike has an fun sense of humor - always enjoy getting coffee from him.

The downstairs rooms are much nicer, updated bathroom and light fixtures. Old tvs. It was below zero when we stayed and the heater wasn't working but the owner gave us some portable heaters. No coffee machines in the room and no breakfast but the coffee at the desk is good. It was clean and cozy. We did have to swat... More

We had booked 2 nights in the Motel and were very pleased. Our room was very pleasant with attractive furnishings and a ceiling fan. The shower room was well-equipped with lovely soft towels! We were made very welcome by Mr and Mrs Miller. It was just a pity that their coffee machine was away being repaired, but there were other... More

We looked online for a stopover in Mission Valley on our journey through Canda and the U.S. and found Sunset Motels website - booking by mail was quite easy (thanks Amy!) and we found two clean and comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave at a moderate price. We asked Mike if we could make our own breakfast in the coffee... More
