We've stayed her many times when visiting our kids in St. Ignatius - very nice owners and very accommodating - they even let our kids come get our room key for our late arrival! Mike has an fun sense of humor - always enjoy getting coffee from him.

The downstairs rooms are much nicer, updated bathroom and light fixtures. Old tvs. It was below zero when we stayed and the heater wasn't working but the owner gave us some portable heaters. No coffee machines in the room and no breakfast but the coffee at the desk is good. It was clean and cozy. We did have to swat... More

We had booked 2 nights in the Motel and were very pleased. Our room was very pleasant with attractive furnishings and a ceiling fan. The shower room was well-equipped with lovely soft towels! We were made very welcome by Mr and Mrs Miller. It was just a pity that their coffee machine was away being repaired, but there were other... More

We looked online for a stopover in Mission Valley on our journey through Canda and the U.S. and found Sunset Motels website - booking by mail was quite easy (thanks Amy!) and we found two clean and comfortable rooms with fridge and microwave at a moderate price. We asked Mike if we could make our own breakfast in the coffee... More

First, Mike & Amy were very accommodating. We landed in Missoula around midnight, which means they had to wake up at ~1am to check us in. The room was clean, had a small refrigerator, microwave and dining table. Like many places out west, no frills, but the price is great! Also, we slept well and they let us check out... More

The place is great. The rooms clean and nice. The staff and owners are extremely helpful, go way beyond to make sure that your stay is pleasant. Highly recommend it and I travel a great deal. The location, the St.Ignatius valley is fantastically beautiful. The owners are a great source of information on what to see in the area.

Is deffinately wrong, the owner has some disabilities due to an accident. He is a very nice man. I am planning on bringing my own coffee pot on my next trip, but... More

I have stayed at the Sunset Motel and enjoyed my stay immensely! The owner-operators, Mike and Amy Miller, are extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They truly care about their guests and will do whatever they can to make one's stay enjoyable and comfortable. The two downstairs rooms have been redone; everything in them is nice and new, done in an... More

The guy is very strange, the room barley adequate, but the price is low. I suggest you drive a bit more to Ninepipes.

We were traveling from Glacier to Missoula and I decided in advance I didn't want to go all the way to Missoula on our last day so was looking for a hotel 30 - 60 miles N to stay on our way there. The website for this hotel makes it sound like a paradise on earth. The reality is it... More
