4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

An old motel located on main street with shotgun rooms with doors front and back with a ski décor from the early 60s. The owners were extremely personable and helpful. Although steps from the main highway through town-- very quiet--much quieter than some its more modern contemporaries. Maybe they used better materials back then. Good location within walking distance of... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night the room was clean and comfortable. We did notice a slight musty smell in the room and we did not like being below ground level. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. For longer stays would look for something a little better.

Thank you for writing a review. Sorry to hear that your room wasn't all that you had hoped it would be. We will definitely look into what might be causing musty smell as this is not something that we would like guests to experience. The rooms on the below ground level are a little quirky, this hotel used to be... More

Made a reservation before leaving home as we were on a motorcycle coming a long way and did not want to be caught without a room when we got to Red lodge. The motel is exactly as advertised, 1960 decor, extremely clean, quiet even though on the Main Street and and the front little balcony is great to relax and... More

Great value, central location and welcoming, informed owners/staff who went out if their way to be helpful. Good sized rooms with comfy beds, perfect to collapse on, as we did, after a full day's skiing. Plenty of space and hooks to hang and dry out skis, boots, clothes and gear. Handy parking directly outside room. The communal hot tub is... More

We stayed July 3rd. Even though the property is on Broadway, (the main street through town), our room was quiet. Nice to have a refrigerator & coffee in the room as well. The room had 1 queen, 1 double & a twin bed in it, we only needed 1 bed, but this would be nice for families.

We loved this little place, great price, clean rooms which included a fridge! No air conditioning, but the ceiling fan was plenty for us. Got a cute little care package with snack and a sewing kit in it. The office lady was very nice, helpful with whatever we needed. It a not so busy part of town, nice quiet neighborhood.... More

We stayed in #2 on lower level. I remember thinking how safe I would feel if the bomb were dropped. And after the steam bath and comfy but firmish sleep I would've cared. The only disappoint that sticks out is the ceaser salad from the carbon county steak house.

This is an older but comfortable motel and good to stay at when traveling over Beartooth Highway. Red Lodge is a darling little town with lots of modern touches. The Yodeler could use a little upgrade to modernize it too. Great beds but need to upgrade their WIFI. Steam shower is nice but seems old. Price is a little high... More

Thank you for the review. We are always trying to update our hotel each year, being corporate free sometimes makes that a little challenging but we value your input. But do expect a clean room with Swedish style steam baths built-in to the showers....enjoy a steam bath with your night cap. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and don't pass out like I did. We stayed during sturgis and was surprised at how quiet the place was at 10pm on a Saturday. Go yodeler!

The Yodeller is a clean, motorcycle friendly motel within walking distance of downtown Red Lodge. It was reasonably priced for the area and I'd be very happy to stay there again when riding through Red Lodge
