The pollard is a renovated old hotel. Great bar and excellent restaurant ( we ate only breakfast in it). In the summer they have jazz guitarists in the bar and the crowd is a nice one. Staff in all areas was great. No room service, altho you can order from bar and bring it to your room. One downside, we... More

Our second time staying at The Pollard. Last time was in the middle of winter. We receive info on their special deals via email. Quiet, clean, drinks and music in The Pub. Food is outstanding! Dinner inside, breakfast on outside porch in the warm morning sun. Love going thru the shops in Red Lodge. Neat items.Always treated well. We will... More

A couple of times a year we get the mailing for a getaway weekend. We go at least once a year, sometimes twice. LOVE this hotel! Nothing better than checking out Red Lodge in the winter, nice full meal in the awesome restaurant, roll upstairs to bed, roll down again the next morning for breakfast. Great food, great staff, great... More

This is an historic hotel. The public areas are excellent. That being said, it is an OLD hotel. Little thing show this, such as : the toilet runs, the TV remote does not always work (they are used to this and the instructions for resetting it are in the book). The TV is very small, The beds are small, the... More

My wife and I had a great stay here during the early spring, which is a slow time for a ski town like Red Lodge. That meant we got a great deal on dinner + breakfast + one night. I would highly recommend a package deal like that, as the food, both dinner and breakfast, was superb. The room was... More

The Pollard is a refurbished hotel, and I think the top choice in Red Lodge. The rooms are nicely furnished and appointed. The hotel offers a great breakfast in the hotel dining room. The dining room and adjacent bar serve good food. Recommended.

Our favourite on the breakfast menu were the ommelet and eggs benedict. The crab cakes were average. the rooms were comfy and clean. the bathrooms recently updated. this... More

The Pollard hotel is in a wonderful location in downtown Red Lodge. The decor is tasteful and the antique from the old Theateroum are fascinating. There is history everywhere in the hotel. The staff are friendly and most accommodating. The rooms could use some minor updates- the carpet and bedspread in my room were both very faded. Note that some... More

The Pollard is very convenient to ski slopes, town. Food at the Bistro is excellent and very different. I had elk meatloaf with cherry sauce and my companion had bison tenderloin. my only complaints were that the room was cold. tried adjusting thermostat and called front desk but it never got any warmer. Make sure you ask for a room... More

We had passed through Red Lodge several times during the past 30 years, but this was going to be our first stay at the Pollard. To make it even more special, we had also decided to get married there. The Staff couldn’t have been more supportive, from early check-in, helping us select and decorate the History Room for the wedding... More
