Loved staying at this older hotel after a day of driving through Yellowstone and the Beartooth Highway. We ate at the Pub and the food was very good. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Just wish I could of spent more time in Red Lodge, the town was very nice

We stayed at the Pollard after driving up from Yellowstone as we wanted to drive the Beartooth Highway without having to rush back or onward to somewhere else. It worked perfectly. Red Lodge is a very cute town with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The hotel was easy to find (on the main road) with parking directly outside or... More

We stopped at Red Lodge before tackling Bear Tooth Pass the next morning. The Pollard is all class. They rip up old towels and provide them to guests to polish chrome on motorcycles or to clean up cars and people on long trips. Was very impressed with this recycling approach. The food in the bar was fabulous - imported Hatch... More

This was my first time staying overnight in Red Lodge as I live in Laurel. First of all, Red Lodge is an awesome town, so much fun walking around and shopping, despite the resort tax. The Pollard made my families stay so much more special. My Grandpa, two Aunts, Mom and Dad, and Brother and I stayed in the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed at The Pollard Hotel in Red Lodge, MT on 6/13/15. When we arrived, it was early and our room wasn't quite ready. When we checked back, the very pleasant young lady at the front desk gave us an upgrade to a suite instead of our standard queen room! There was no extra fees! We also... More

Our room smelled of mold so strongly, that I pulled the covers up to my nose. Room 218. Room very small as compared to the websites. Restaurant was great. I probably wouldn't be this negative if the room didn't smell. I should have asked for another room, thought the smell would get better as we opened and closed the door.... More

Dear Mary, I am so sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience, and I am very glad that you brought it to our attention. I will look into the odor in this room immediately and hopefully we can get this repaired. We would like to treat you to a larger room if you do change your mind and decide... More

My husband had seen the Pollard when he visited Red Lodge last year and decided that he would like to stay there this year. That was one of his greatest ideas! I had originally only booked one night at the Pollard. While travelling we found out that we would be in Red Lodge a day earlier than we expected. I... More

This hotel harks back to the glory days when towns took great pride in having the very best in hotels. The Pollard has been updated, the furnishings, the art work, the carpeting, the public sitting rooms, the dining rooms,............it is all so lovely. And the staff, (thanks Kirsten, Tabby, Rachel! and the attentive manager whose name I did not learn).... More

Overall we had a very good stay. The restaurant was excellent and we really enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was convenient to be able to walk around the town from our hotel. The room was a bit dated and could use some fresh touches.

I was going to rate it 4 on the basis of 5 for the hotel and 3 for the room but ... please read on. The hotel is superb - it has such history, great decor and is located in the centre of the historic Main Street. Fully served breakfast of choice was excellent. There is also a great Pub... More
