It's a KOA. So, the sites are ridiculously close together and sitting at your picnic table means sitting right on top of your neighbor's sewer hook up. It is what it is. That being said, this KOA is kind of sad and run down. There is a lot of deferred maintenance and dead grass. The picnic tables are in dire... More

This was a good base for exploring the area with very clean facilities only a few miles from town. The pitches were not quite level and luckily the RV next door had some spare chocs. There were plenty of fixed barbecues with grids and adjacent picnic tables. There was a lovely clean pool, although we did not use it.

We had to check-in late and it was nice that they had a late check-in box where we could grab our info and go park. We were only there just to sleep and shower, but the pool was really nice. They have a fenced in area where you could run your dog around. The rate was very reasonable. The lady... More

We stayed one night on our way out of Yellowstone. Pros: guest services were extremely nice and helpful, clean restrooms and hot showers, dishwashing station, fire pit and sites well maintained. Perks: creek running throughout, playground, heated pool, drink/snack shop open 8a-8p. Cons: highest price we paid ($32.99) for a tent site during our nine nights of camping. This was... More

KOA Red Lodge campground in Red Lodge MT is in a scenic location very close to marvelous mountain views. Campground hosts suggested a day loop trip that provided marvelous and varied scenery on 3 roads that provided great views that were different, none better.

After a visit to Yellowstone National Park, we spent two nights in Red Lodge preparing for the next part of our long road trip adventure. We drove up the Bear Tooth Highway from Yellowstone which was amazingly stunning. The Red Lodge KOA was a great spot to relax. We spent a good amount of time catching up on life with... More

We pulled in with our camper and set up and stayed the night. Pretty average stay. It's a nice place. Nice staff. Nice place nothing mind blowing just a nice KOA. Showers worked well which was a nice change from a camper shower.

Stayed here for three nights with my brother's family and my family. We got two tenting sites. T09 was good, T08 was on the corner, so it was less spacious. Nice little stream ran behind campsite which the kids loved. My teenage son enjoyed the bike rental. Pool was nice and clean as were the showering facilities. My only hang... More

This KOA is staffed by nice, helpful people. It is nestled in a little scenic hollow with a charming little brook. Bathrooms were clean and the usual for an older KOA. We did meet a skunk when we were leaving the bathroom in the middle of the night, but he scampered off like a polite fellow. WiFi was good. Camp... More

Nice camping cabins with covered porch and swing. Comfortable mattress. Friendly staff and clean showers. Quiet. Red Lodge Pizza Company will deliver. The campground is about 4 miles from town. We arrived late but they had our information in a box outside the office.
