7 miles south of town, on the way to Yellowstone. We stayed in the condo section, with a balcony overlooking the river, which was lovely. Room clean, but outdated, sink and tub had mars and crack. Having to haul our packed cooler upstairs with no elevator (bears have been aggressive around food, per the hotel) wasn't fun. No fridge or... More

Great location - just outside of town on the Beartooth National highway. Excellent place to stay if riding a motorcycle or just fishing & relaxing. Very well maintained, clean & a great staff. Sam & Patty were very accommodating & helpful. Overall really nice/pretty facility. Good variety of room choices. Originally planned to stay one night & stayed three because... More

We stumbled upon Rock Creek Lodge after having our "4 month previously made in advance reservation" at Alpine Lodge in Red Lodge cancelled by a greedy owner who wanted to rent it for four times what we had reserved, due to the unprecedented high demand relating to the 75th Sturgis Bike Rally nearby. Needless to say there was nothing we... More

Beautiful location just a few miles from Red Lodge. The creek side rooms are amazing. The rushing water really made it cool and peaceful. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The Wi-Fi is a bit spotty though. For the price you are paying the breakfast needs to include some sort of hot meat dish, like they do... More

Booked Rock Creek room for 3 nights 6 mos out. I traveled with a 10 year old. Our room overlooked the Rock Creek and we fell asleep to the water rushing over the rocks...very soothing. Our room was spacious but had a Murphy bed and a pull-out couch. Neither was very comfortable. We had a kitchenette which was stocked with... More

We honeymooned here 23 years ago and it is still as beautiful as it was so long ago! However, the place needs some freshening up. Things just looked tired. We did have a room on the creek side so slept to the wonderful running creek. The fitness room is still a nook poolside. The pool is a real treat with... More

Condition – very good rustic appearance with a new inside and well decorated landscape. Positive Features – well maintained campus, clean room, exercise area, friendly staff, well supplied meeting rooms, close to town and far enough away to no hear it, fantastic entry the fireplace is worth the view, great overlook to Rock Creek, peaceful rooms, several W/decks, fun catch... Visited 7/26/2015 Room 169. The room was old and tired. The deck had some sort of white deposit caked in one corner which mixed with the rain to make a scary mixture. Kept us off the deck which was too bad because the room was directly on the creek which was nice. Although they advertised WiFi it didn't work in... More

My husband and I went there for an anniverary get-a-way. When we checked in everything was wonderful. It is a beautiful location; nice, quiet and secluded. Just what we wanted. That everning we went to eat at the Carbon County Steakhouse (which I would recommend). When we returned to our hotel room, we could tell that someone had checked into... More

Rock Creek offers a beautiful setting right the rock creek. The rooms are in dire need of some upgrades; everything from carpets, window coverings, Tube TV, etc. It feels like the rooms got stuck in the late 80's or early 90s. We only had the light continental breakfast in the morning. Basically, breakfast was not worth the time or calories.... More
