This is a pretty setting about 6 miles from Red Lodge. The breakfast was the usual continental fare except for the muffins which were fabulous. The downside was no elevator in the Grizzly Building which made it difficult to lug our cooler and suitcases. Also, the path to the front door is not for cars so things had to be... More

Red lodge is a small quaint little town with charm. Needed a place to stay while exploring montanna. The rooms are large the hotel is in a beautiful area though is a ways out of town ( 4 or 5 miles I guess). It is clean well kept and had a nice deep bath tub. The only reason I didn't... More

I stayed here a whole wk with husband for MT Cable Show. Close to beautiful mts and great small town. I wouldn't call this a resort but the grounds were beautiful. Enjoyed continental non-hot breakfast. Restaurant food was ok- not better than ones in town, though. Wish we had larger room for week stay- small one in back. Plus- see... More

Before going on our trip to Yellowstone we found rock creek resort but ended up not booking because of the reviews. The reviews made this place out to be a poor place to stay. We happened to drive by on our way out of Yellowstone and I said to my wife "that's the place we decided not to book" It... More

We stayed for a night before traveling the Beartooth Highway. The location of the resort and views are incredible. I would imagine a room overlooking the creek would be much nicer. However, the room was clean and fine but needs a lot of updating. The noises coming through the vents were loud and annoying. Since we were exhausted from the... More

Our room request for a creek side room was gladly granted to us by their friendly staff. The beds and bedding here are soooo comfortable! The continental breakfast and coffee could be upgraded for the total cost they charge.

We stayed at the Rock Creek Resort in the Off - Season (May). We stayed in the Twin Elks Building in a King Jacuzzi Suite. The room was immaculate - looked brand new. The Jacuzzi tub was in the large bathroom - but being a couple that are 6' and 6'7" - the tub was definitely a one person extravagance.... More

We did not get what we paid for. When your main bed is a hideaway bed... I'm sorry but that doesn't count as a "King Room". And the fireplace is a wood stove that you can't even function because you don't have wood! This place needs a lot of updating if it's going to call itself a Resort!

Awful waste of money. Unorganized. Dirty old rooms. Maid service never came. Completely overpriced. Everything around the motel was beautiful but the fact that they call themselves a resort is laughable.
