Stayed two nights at Chico Hot Springs on our travels between Yellowstone and Glacier National Park and we thoroughly enjoyed it for several reasons. The countryside was absolutely beautiful and the hots springs pool was delightful and relaxing. We liked our quaint room in the Main Lodge w/o tv, phone, or air conditioning. It was small but had an updated private... More

Still love the facilities but there are so many young children now that it is VERY hard to relax. Screaming kids during nice dinner, no calm area in the pool, great spa service, though. More

The Good: Restaurant is good - not gourmet. Poolside Grill - decent. The Bad: Room fan unbalanced - creaked, groaned, clicked and was unusable. Was two rooms away from the ice machine / sodas - vibration through floor boards all night. Bright security lights outside all night - way too bright in room - shades insufficient. Internet infernally hard to... More

A couple of friends recommended the Chico Hot Springs prior to our day in Yellowstone. Luckily, all the lodging in the park wasn't open yet for the season, and we were able to experience Chico. We called in the early afternoon, and they told me that they only had the $179 room available, which was not in our budget. We... More

The food was way under standard for the prices charged. The service was unforgiveable! Clearing plates when the entire table was not finished! Taking the bread basket away in the middle of the meal. We sat for 20 min. after all plates were cleared and finally decided to forget dessert and had to flag down the hostess to ask for... More

We stayed at Chico for two nights in January and loved it! The staff was friendly, the room nice (though a little warm - hot spring heating is hard to regulate!), the restaurant amazing and the hot springs themselves fun. We also did the Dog Sledding that is run from the resort and thought it was wonderful, too! Chico was... More

Of all the developed springs in Montana, Chico has best been able to maintain its historical, authentic feel. It appeals to a broad spectrum of visitors with a variety of lodging and dining options, from the cheap main lodge rooms with shared down-the-hall baths to upscale private cabins, and the budget Poolside grill (that serves a very decent grilled chicken... We just returned from Chico Hot Springs. It's a great value in SW Montana...and a nice place to spend the night. Pay a little extra for the newer cabins there alot nicer. The main lodge is packed full of history. The hot springs & spa are a nice way to unwind & there are two options for food. We had... More

We had a wonderful woman who helped us with reservations, to find the right spot for our group to stay. We spent one night in the Fisherman's Lodge--and had dinner in the beautiful dining room. The wait staff were exceptional. The desk staff could use more help and skills--the line and wait gets pretty tedious. Just a beautiful setting and... More

We go to Chico Hot Springs a few times a year, and we have never had a bad visit. We dont usually eat in the dining room...except for the breakfast bruch....but the poolside grill is very good. There is so much neat history to this old hotel, I love it. More
