We stayed in rustic cabin up on the hill...cabin was very clean and cozy...size of the double bed ok with us but I think the mattress was a bit old and soft. Hot pool was too full of people to get into (hotel was booked) which was disappointing - part of the appeal of Chico is the pools. Had dinner... More

This hotel is resting on its past laurels. There is so much potential - the scenery is lovely, the place is very picturesque. However - the bed was like a sack of doorknobs, the pillows were hard, the room was hot and stuffy! There are no phones and no cell service. No TV in any of the rooms. The light... More

Mineral Hot Springs are the draw here. No smelling springs just lovely hot water to soak away stress. The restaurant is billed as one of Montana's best - it's just OK for me. We stayed in the original building which had nice antique touches and a comfortable room.

My fiancée and I rented a cabin at Chico in March for his birthday. We were looking forward to a romantic, peaceful getaway. We booked massages at the spa, I loved mine, he didn't love his, so that was a bummer, since it was his birthday present. I've been to Chico on a couple occasions and I always find the... More

Most Montanans who live in the Yellowstone region think of Chico as one of the top reasons we live here, but we often take it for granted. We loved spending our last night of our Yellowstone tour with our California visitors at Chico. Slipping into the hot pool with a local brew before dinner, walking through the grounds to see... More

We traveled north from Yellowstone about 20 to 30 minutes and it's definitely worth the drive! We stayed in the Warren Wing in a King room and it was beautiful! NO phone and no A/C! They provide a box fan and a window that opens and that's exactly what we did! Divine sleeping weather in August! It's set among rolling... More

Stopped here at last minute, no reservation. Had a nice room in Fishermans Lodge. Never been to a natural hot spring that didn't have a sulphur smell. This pool was odorless ! The staff was friendly and helpful. The main lodge was historic and quaint, even had FREE coffee by the fireplace in the morning. Woke to a young buck... More

We stayed in one of the "rustic" cabins on top of the hill with a great view of the valley, and the mountains beyond. The cabin was nice: 2 beds, with a bathroom, and a coffee maker. The beds were very comfortable. There was also a porch with chairs to sip coffee in the morning and enjoy the view. It... More

This is an awesome place and we will definitely come back. The hot spring pools made us feel like we were in heaven. The food in the restaurant was second to none and the service was impeccable. We stayed in the lower lodge which was comfortable and homey. If going to Yellowstone...skip the Old Faithful Inn and stay here instead.

We had a two story cabin. The cabin comfortably slept 5. We had a full kitchen, laundry & a fireplace. After a relaxing dip in the spa, we enjoyed drinks on our private porch. The on site bar and grill offered live music. We ate in our cabin so cannot comment on food.
