I have been to Chico twice now. One for a wedding stay in the summer and other this winter for a weekend of relaxation. I highly recommend a cabin rather than a room in the main lodge. The cabin was great and very cozy, privet, but also a little costly. The room is not the way to go if you... More

We stayed here 4 nights with friends on a "winter package". We all loved it! Our rooms in the Warren Wing were big enough, clean, and well-serviced each day--not "fancy", but pleasant. Since it was winter it was nice to be able to go to the lobby, dining room, and pools without going outside. The little library room was a... More

This was our 6th stay at Chico and it didn't dissappoint . Our room in the main lodge was small but comfortable. Patrons new to Chico should understand that this historic property is just that - old. That is part of the charm. Visitors can "step back in time"' and experience western hospitality, along with creaky floors , squeaky beds,... More

My wife and I were gifted a "winter get-a-way" by our children. Our get-a-way package included a cabin, swimming, dinner, and breakfast. Our children had reserved a cabin for us at a time we were not able to go. We called Chico to change the reservation and they were very helpful in accommodating us. A few days later another glitch... Let me preface this by saying - I have always loved Chico and have been coming here for 20 years. However, the visit last weekend was really poor. At check-in, we were advised that the hotel water system has been compromised, that a new water treatment plant is being built, but in the meantime the water cannot be consumed or... More

Not my first stay here, but my first WINTER stay, and it was just as wonderful. Such a relaxed atmosphere, and lovely with Christmas decorations (I stayed mid December). It's a little crowded on weekends, so I love the weekdays there best! Food, once again, was spectacular. (This stay was in the Warren Wing - updated rooms but attached to... More

This lovely hotel, hot springs and dining establishment has everything you need! What are the romantic getaway or just to stay for friends, you will be so happy you stopped. I especially love the old-school keys for each room and the Decour!

We stayed two nights here while attending a wedding. What an amazing venue for the wedding! The suite we stayed in was comfortable. The food in the main dining room was good, but the food served at the wedding was even better (PLUS.... the chef accommodated my daughter's food allergies)! The staff were all so kind and cheerful and went... More

We do our annual strategic planning here. It is affordable. The views are magnificent. The rooms in the Warren Wing are the best, but I have stayed in all sections with comfort. The meeting rooms are very nice with all amenities. The catering, breakfast & dinner in restaurant, pool side grill and bar for lunch are all magnificent! The pool... More

This is my second time here (September 2014) and it is never long enough. It is an step back in time to the luxury ranch experiences of the '20's, but with modernization. For us, it was plenty just to soak in the pools, eat the no-nonsense food and be on our way...with the regret that we couldn't stay another couple... More
