My grandson and I took a quick trip from our home in the Idaho Panhandle with plans to visit national parks in Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming. But, first, I wanted to visit Philipsburg, MT. I have heard about this quaint mining town for years and it was time to go there. I chose to stay at the Broadway Hotel... More

We stayed in the Britannia room and it was decorated in period pieces from England during the war years, very interesting room. Spacious sitting areas including a great room with at fireplace and if you are lucky "Josie" will curl up on the floor near you while watching the fire in the fireplace. Our hostess took great care to ensure... More

My friend and I shared the very picturesque Cowboy Room. Another place in Phillipsburg had been recommended by friends, but it was booked up so we luckily got the last room at the Broadway Hotel. Sue was very accommodating, staying to wait for our arrival to check us in and giving us the ski package deal which provided savings on... More

After a lovely trip to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, we decided to extend our vacation another night, staying in Philipsburg. The Broadway is an incredibly beautiful historic building right in the middle of town, and next door to the fantastic Philipsburg Brewing Company. For a very reasonable price, we were booked into a suite called The Sportsman. Each of the... More

Thank you so very much for taking the time to write such a nice review. We are happy you decided to extend your travels and stay with us at The Broadway. You are correct we are not the Holliday Inn and that is what make the hotel unique. You can feel the charm and history of the hotel and lean... More

Looking to extend our family spring break an extra day we choose to drive through Philipsburg on our way back to NW MT. We called last minute to reserve rooms for two families of 4. Sue, the owner, was more than accommodating and left keys for us at the door for our after hours arrival. The rooms are absolutely amazing... More

Hi Guys: It was a pleasure to have you stay with us! Thank you for being so friendly, and helpful, during the saga of the spoon - that was funny especially when the other guest turned up with it!, It is now in the house, so no more drama. I do hope we get to have the pleasure of your... More

The Broadway in Philipsburg is a perfect weekend getaway place: we stayed in the Britannia suite, and it's beautiful, comfortable, and authentic! Sue is a warm and gracious innkeeper; everything is clean and inviting a full of great corners to curl up with a book. (And by the way, there are shelves full of wonderful books available, too . .... Dear Carol: Thank you very much for your comments, I had great satisfaction seeing you and John enjoying our guest lounge reading and being cozy by the fireplace. Guests like you are a joy. I hope to see you again in the not too distant future. Sincerely, Sue. More

The Broadway Hotel was perfect place for me and my best friend to enjoy a girls weekend. We had the run of the place being we were the only ones there over night. The room was more than we could ever had hoped and Sue was fabulous to say the least. Warm, inviting, cozy, felt very much like home away from... More

The location is right (above the brewery in downtown Phillipsburg), breakfast is good, the rooms and hotel are quaint, and there is a shared living area and kitchen. But if you do any of the following, the landlady, Sue, will chew you out: 1. Hanging out in the kitchen while breakfast is being prepared; 2. Sitting in the kitchen on... More

HI: I have to say I am really taken aback with your review. Your group booked four rooms and we had five other rooms booked to other guests. The fact that the other guests complained strongly about some of your group's behavior, to me and to some of you, is not mentioned? Loudness including shouting to each other between 1am... More

We were looking for a place to stay for one night near discovery ski area. We have stayed at places in anaconda and even a vrbo spot in Philipsburg. This was a wonderful place to stay for our family of 4. Not your typical modern hotel but that's not what makes Philipsburg such a great small town. This place is... More

We recently had two couples visit us and we paid for their stay in two suites at the Broadway Hotel. We have known the couples for 50 years and wanted their stay to be special. We were able to entertain them at our Pberg home and share dinner with them at the Silver Mill. They then retreated to the hotel... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was very uplifting and much appreciated. Our town is an interesting and unique place to visit and stay awhile.
