We use to enjoy staying here, primarily because the location is perfect when visiting our college kids. However, lately we have noticed a lot of wear and tear. They really need to update and spruce up. Even though we love the location, I think next time we will be staying somewhere else. more

first impression was a little bit of a tired convention hotel. However thing s improved at check in. Front desk was very courteous and helpful. Common areas have been updated. We have stayed at the Doubletree Missoula/Edgewater twice now. The service is excellent. The restaurant has a broad wine list. The rooms are cleaned by people who hate cleaning. This is a good choice for staying near the university and the adorable downtown district (boutiques, restaurants, etc). It is in the end, a Doubletree, so don't expect the Ritz or much charm, but it is very clean, spacious, and friendly.
