This was the first place we stayed at on our two month road-trip around the USA. It was comfortable and clean and the perfect place to get over our jetlag and to find our feet before setting out on our big adventure. We particularly enjoyed the view of the river from our window in the Duniway Room. It was a... More

My first stay in a BnB, and it was great. This home has a lot of history. What I most enjoyed, as I am not a BnB type person, I like privacy to much - when you get to the house, it is set up where you can go directly to your room without passing through someone home, very clever... More

We recently spent two days in Missoula and we booked our time at Goldsmith's Bed and Breakfast. The first thing we discovered upon our arrival was the person managing the B&B had to run some errands and left us a note with instructions to find the key to the suite we booked. We found the accomodations were satisfactory and the... More

Hello, Thank you for your review. You are correct in that there is not always someone here, however, we do have management that lives on site, and for the most part is available for all guest request about 90% of the time. We have had problems at times properly informing our guest of what to expect. We are somewhere of... More

We didn't stay long, only one night, but we hope we get a chance to go back. The room was clean and comfortable, slept great, and Meg was a very warm and friendly hostess who gave us lots of tips on our next destination, Glacier National Park. Goldsmith's is just across the river from the University's campus and a short... More

We stayed at Goldsmith’s Bed and Breakfast for four days in June and had an absolutely wonderful time. It is a delightful bed and breakfast right on the Clark Fork River. Meg, the manager was extremely welcoming and helpful. Her breakfasts were amazing! My husband and I stayed in The Clark Fork Suite and had a lovely patio overlooking the... More

The location on the Clark Fork River makes for a pleasant stay. It is within walking distance of food like Qdoba and Pizza Hut. However, expect to hear trains. Up until about 10 o'clock in the evening, and starting at about 6 o'clock in the morning, there will be trains tooting their horns. If you're a light sleeper: it's a... More

My room was clean and cozy and breakfast was different every day and was warm and welcome. Wonderful experience. More of an Inn than a B&B, which I prefer I'm not one for communal eating in the morning because I am not always awake enough to chat with strangers. Lovely deck with a great view of the river.

Right on the Clark Fork River, next door to the Bike Rental shop, and about 7 mins. to downtown restaurants, shopping, museums. The University of Montana, Adams Center and the Griz Stadium are just across the Madisen Street Bridge. Easily walkable should a big event mean limited parking. You couldn't look for a better place to stay. The B&B, which... More

An amazing experience - Meg's hospitality was great. Very relaxed and comfortable environment. Went to my conference and bragged to others about the service I received, and my short walk to the university while they had to fight for parking and grab a cold bagel and cream cheese on the go from their overpriced commercial hotels. My room was very... More

We stayed in the Clark Fork Suite with our 17-year-old son while on a campus visit to the University of Montana in February. The room was perfect--plenty of privacy, plenty of charm, and most of all, plentiful views of the river. Breakfasts were fabulous, and Meg made us feel so welcome--it was as if we were visiting a favorite cousin... More
