My room was clean and cozy and breakfast was different every day and was warm and welcome. Wonderful experience. More of an Inn than a B&B, which I prefer I'm not one for communal eating in the morning because I am not always awake enough to chat with strangers. Lovely deck with a great view of the river.

Right on the Clark Fork River, next door to the Bike Rental shop, and about 7 mins. to downtown restaurants, shopping, museums. The University of Montana, Adams Center and the Griz Stadium are just across the Madisen Street Bridge. Easily walkable should a big event mean limited parking. You couldn't look for a better place to stay. The B&B, which... More

An amazing experience - Meg's hospitality was great. Very relaxed and comfortable environment. Went to my conference and bragged to others about the service I received, and my short walk to the university while they had to fight for parking and grab a cold bagel and cream cheese on the go from their overpriced commercial hotels. My room was very... More

We stayed in the Clark Fork Suite with our 17-year-old son while on a campus visit to the University of Montana in February. The room was perfect--plenty of privacy, plenty of charm, and most of all, plentiful views of the river. Breakfasts were fabulous, and Meg made us feel so welcome--it was as if we were visiting a favorite cousin... More

We stayed here a few years back when passing through Missoula. Very nice B&B located right on the river and directly across from the university. Nice walk over to the campus or just to the bridge. Very nicely kept with clean rooms and a delicious breakfast. Highly recommend!

This cute B&B located on the Clarkfork River in Missoula is a great place to stay. Meg, The Manager and staff, serve up excellent breakfast. The rooms are decorated with charm. For what you would pay at the chain hotels in town or less, you will feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend your try this secret gem out.

My wife and I travel with a Border Collie on cross-country trips, but never expect to find a bed and breakfast that readily accommodates pets. Frankly, that was the reason why we selected Goldsmith's as a respite in late September 2014, and it worked out perfectly. But in fact, our two-day stay turned out to be ideal in every other... We stayed two nights at Goldsmith's Bed & Breakfast this past weekend. The location is fabulous---right on the river. We took several long hikes along the river & even visited a spectacular open air market Saturday morning that is set up right on the river banks. Fun! The room was clean and adequate. We did not have breakfast either morning... More

Finally updating on my 2013 travels and this one was a highlight. I I had a wonderful stay at this B&B. The location is great and right on the river with views of the water and mountains. The inn itself is cute, has a very interesting history (it was picked up and moved to this location!) and the staff are... More

My husband and I stayed at Goldsmith's Inn in July. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautiful. Meg, who manages the Inn, was wonderful and welcoming. She was friendly and had great suggestions about what to do in Missoula and good places to eat. The breakfast was delicious both mornings we stayed. The meal included a main dish and fresh... More
