I would like to first mention that I made my online reservation using Hotel.com. I read reviews after doing so. In some of the reviews they mention The Outpost. Let me explain..when you book online looking for the cheapest price, The Outpost, is where you will be place. The Outpost is part of the original hotel. It is old and... More

The hot pool in the lodge are wonderful. You can also setup private time for pools. The staff goes out of there way to make sure your stay is unforgettable. I forgot my snow pants and the staff found some for me to use for the day. The king bed were super comfortable.

My family and I had an incredible time at The Lodge. We stayed in a family room and it was the perfect size for the four of us, equipped with a microwave and refrigerator too. The décor was everything we’d hoped for, log cabin style walls/ceiling and we were also told that all the log furniture was made in Montana.... More

Great rooms. Love the log furniture. The room was very spacious. The breakfast is great with waffles. The best part is the hot springs go soaking to take all your aches and pains away. All staff member very friendly.

They were so welcoming. The employees made us feel like a part of their small family. The hot tubs were relaxing and perfect temperature. If your expecting high end, this is not. It was even better, cozy, relaxing. We were able to "unplug" and enjoy Montana.

The actual room and lodge itself was cozy. However, only one light in the room worked, large dead bugs found on the floor. The kicker was no hot water to shower which when sitting in hot springs all night, it's about all we wanted to do. All the challenges were addressed and all they could say was sorry. No options... Nice thing about the hot pools is that they can be heated up to the temperature of your choice. this time of year, the water comes out at about 101 degrees which is perfect for soaking in for one hour or so. However, if you would like to warmer, we can turn the tub up to 104 degrees and only... More

On the night of November 5th we spent the night. The staff was very friendly but for week night with low occupancy I would have expected the rates to be a little cheaper. Their web site advertises staying in the Outpost as "Traveling on a Budget". $95 for one night isn't budget friendly.  The disappointing thing was the hot springs/hot... More

Hmmm, we usually do not get negative reviews. We take pride in our hot pools because they are full of natural minerals which are very healing to people. We do not add chemicals, the water flows in as fast as the water flows out therefore getting fresh water constantly. By Montana law, we do have to drain the water and... More

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge so much for many reasons. The staff there was top notch and extremely friendly. They helped us find attractions and activities to do during our stay. The lodge was very clean including the indoor hot springs which were second to none! They exceeded our expectations in every way. We will definitely go back... More
