The Wineglass Inn, located amidst the beautiful Absaroka Mountains in Livingston, Montana, is a lovely self-contained home away from home. The setting is breathtaking, and the mornings will have you captivated by the sight of deer playing in the fields and the sounds of coyotes in the brush below.
The Inn, or rather, ranch home, has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a game room. Our family of seven had plenty of open space, and the gorgeous kitchen with a patio barbecue enabled us to cook our meals in style. Livingston, a cute pioneer town, is situated about ten minutes away on the valley floor. There is ample to do around town, including fly fishing, horseback riding, river rafting and, of course, visits to Yellowstone, only fifty miles away. I would highly recommend the Rib and Chop House in the downtown area, as well as the Pickle Barrel for good sandwiches. Lest I forget, the best ice cream ever is Wilcoxson's Wild Huckleberry, which is readily available at most...
