My husband and I recently vacationed in Montana with my sister, her husband and our niece. With this being our first experience in this amazingly beautiful and majestic state our stay at Elk Lake Resort heightened our trip from the familiar Northeast to a place "off the grid". Having never stayed for any length of time at such a remote... More

Words are not enough. Craig and Lerrina Collins and their children and employees were impeccable at making my friends and me feel like family. They went completely out of their way to accomodate us. They held dinner for us when we were late and even brought lunch to us when we fished at hidden lake a few miles away. The... More

Sal, It was a treat meeting a new member of the gang this year. You added much to the group - and were a total delight to get to know! Thank you for your kind words. We enjoyed every minute with you all and are very glad you are looking forward to returning. We look forward to serving you all... More

Our annual fishing trip to Elk Lake was once again a great success! Lerrina,Craig,Anna,Hanna,Nate and the rest of the staff go all out to make sure our stay with them is first class. The food is wonderful and the scenery is breathtaking. My only complaint is that I have to leave.

My fishing buddies and I met at Elk Lake Resort for our annual get-together. What a blast! The hosts, Craig and Lerrina, go all out to insure that our trip is too good to pass up. Our group of ten guys were treated to first class service including three meals a day, well kept fishing boats and clean, comfortable cabins... More

Thank you for your kind words. It is always a pleasure to greet return guests. It brings the excitement of returning friends/family. When you all leave, we always say "Good-Bye" with a hint of sadness - yet with the anticipation of next year's visit. With such great guests, it's our privilege to serve! Lady of the Lake More

We stayed one night in a cabin with a queen bed, its own bath and shower. The resort is the only development on a beautiful lake. The facilities are simple but perfectly comfortable. There is a building with a bar and restaurant, pool table, and lounge. The lake has lots of fish and boats, kayaks, and canoes are for rent.... More

I'm not sure what Mr. 1 star is talking about down there but it's pretty obvious that Elk Lake is remote. Not only is it advertised as "remote" but any map will tell you the same. Additionally, although remote, it certainly does not take 2-3 hours to get anywhere. It's about 30 min into the town of Island Park, ID... More

My fiancé and I spent 3 nights at Elk Lake Resort recently. We can't say enough about our stay and the good times we had. We unloaded our snowmobiles and rode 18 miles to Elk Lake. Amazing ride with scenery to die for. The owners, Craig and Lerrina, are some of the nicest, most pleasant people you will ever meet.... More

First off: We're from Washington State, have stayed at Elk Lake twice in the past two years, and both times it was a primary destination of our trip. It's that good, from all points of view. Proximity: Centennial Valley is jaw-dropping beautiful yet its only about 40 minutes from Henry's Lake, Idaho, which is the gateway to Yellowstone's west entrance.... More
