This downtown hotel is slightly grand and is a wonderful place to stay in Kalispell. Friendly staff, very clean, excellent rooms with quality bedding, towels, etc. The room we stayed in was impeccable in the manner in which it was prepared. Everything worked like it should - wifi, elevator, hardware, plugs, etc. Cookies, drinks and popcorn are out for all.... More

We stayed only one night here but we enjoyed it very much. The lobby area is lovely, although not very spacious. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was tastefully furnished in a traditional decor. The shower was quite small (no tub). I'm not a very big person but could hardly turn around in it. I don't know... More

This is a real treasure, if you appreciate a good "real" hotel and some history. What a pleasant change from chains! This 1912 hotel has been renovated recently and well, but its charm has not been lost. It is located in downtown Kalispell. The rooms are clean and well cared for and the beds are very good. The price is... More

Stayed here one night on 9/10/14. Centrally located for shopping in Kalispell. Our room was immaculate and well appointed. The downstairs had the décor of a Western hotel, which is what we wanted. Their buffet breakfast was generous and delicious. Free cookies and tea, coffee during the day. Highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

The only complaint even remotely associated with this place is the two diamonds AAA gave it. What were they thinking? Did they have an ulterior motive? We almost canceled it after seeing this in the AAA Tourbook. This hotel is historic (1912) but kept up to today's standards in most ways. Yes, the rooms are on the smallish size but... More

I travel often to the Flathead for both business and pleasure, this time I decided to try something a little different and stayed in a renovated old downtown hotel. The place is very nicely renovated and clean. The rooms typical of old hotels are quite small but very nicely done, quite modern and again very clean. The staff was pleasant... More

Have stayed at the Grand Hotel in Kalispell twice in recent months. Both occasions turned out to be good experiences, hence, our decision to book again! The positives - historic ambience throughout, staff friendliness and efficiency, well appointed clean rooms, convenient location in downtown Kalispell, continental breakfast and baked goodies offered into the evening, overall good value for the money.... We booked this by phone and arrived in the very late afternoon on a Friday...we didn't have to worry about the public parking as the next day we would have been gone before they started charging. It is my understanding that the hotel takes care of the charges per se but finding a spot was pretty tricky that late on... More

Stayed at the Grand Hotel for two nights in Sept. and found it a very wise choice. The reviews on Trip Advisor are very helpful to inform travelers as to what they can expect from this hotel. As others have mentioned, the downtown streets and location can be a distraction to light sleepers but we always travel with a small... More

A little late writing this as we stayed for one night on July 3 while passing through from Spokane to Glacier. There was a glich with the room we got - it was not what i had reserved but it was late and we were exhausted from traveling so we just got some sleep and mentioned it at the desk... More
