We decided to stay here as it was close to our family who live in Kalispell. We were very happy with our decision. The lobby was small and charming. The staff was very helpful. Our room was on the back of the hotel and was quiet. It was small but the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and... more

My husband and I just returned from a driving vacation and I had booked us into this hotel on the recommendations of other travelers. I really LOVE old buildings, and I really wanted to love this hotel. Unfortunately, the charm could not outweigh the negatives. It is a lovely old building, restored beautifully downstairs in the very small lobby. The... more

We really enjoyed our stopover in Kalispell; the Grand's refurbished rooms, although a little small, were comfy, great beds and linens, nice decor. Cookies and popcorn in the evening and very nice breakfast in the morning. more

This is an historic downtown hotel, so the atmosphere is terrific. The rooms, which were no more than the chain hotels on the edge of town, were tasteful, roomy and very comfortable. You can walk around downtown after dinner. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the continental breakfast was delicious. The folks who run the hotel make the tasty breakfast... more

OUr room at the Kallispell was quite large, on the end of the building. We both remarked upon entering the room that it felt a lot like an office. Blinds on the windows and the desk against the wall made the whole room seen very functional, but not at all quaint or luxurious. The bathroom was small and showed signs... more

While I can't complain about the Grand Hotel, I can't rave about it like the other reviewers either. The rooms are smallish due to the age of the building. My room had a king size bed that almost filled the entire room. Not as small as most European hotels, though. I left a USB cord in my room that would... more

The owners have done a remarkable job with this gem of a hotel. They have totally refurbished a beautiful old historic hotel with modern comforts. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. We had a large bathroom with a jetted tub. The staff couldn't be friendlier. Homemade cookies in the afternoon, a continental breakfast and coffee in the... more

Historic hotel with great staff that made you feel at home. Every am the kids looked forward to the fresh baked goods. Every pm they treasured the fresh baked cookies. It didn't matter that there wasn't a pool or flat screen t.v's- the 4 star hotels we stayed at on this trip couldn't compete. We liked the set up of... more

We stayed for 3 nights at the Kalispell Grand while visiting Glacier NP. Our room was a standard king which faced the side street (not Highway 93) and had a single shower (no tub). All in all, for what we paid, it was an excellent value. Service was exceedingly friendly and our room was very clean. As other reviewers have... more
