The hotel is anchored at one end of a medium-sized indoor mall which makes it convenient for shoppers. The rooms are generally well maintained and clean. We had a problem with the shower draining but other than that the bathroom was stocked with the standard amenities. The beds were comfortable and the room was pretty quiet. The TV had many... more

We stayed at the Red Lion in Kalispell for 3 nights in March. We originally booked our vacation to stay 4 nights in Whitefish at the Holiday Inn Express....after one night we checked out.... rooms were not sound proof...could hear everything our neighbors were doing upstairs...toilet, shower, kids jumping on the bed....NOT. I read reviews about the Red Lion prior... more

We stayed off-season, for 2 nights and were very pleased. Our room was beautiful, clean, quiet with a view of the town and the mountains in the background. The staff was pleasant. The only complaint is the hotel restaurant that we went to for breakfast. The atmosphere is very pleasant but the food was so-so at best and they were... more

Very clean, newly remodeled rooms. Located at the busiest intersection in town so it was sometimes hard to get in and out of the place. Staff was very friendly. Was overbooked when we arrived so we were "upgraded" to another room for the same price as the original room. It appears that an upgrade moves you from a Mall View... more

The hotel's renovation, mentioned by earlier travelers, has been completed. The hotel looks great from the outside, clean and new from the inside, and the rooms are fine. The shower was fine, with good temperature controls. There were lots of pillows -- a big plus. Close to Smiths and J.C. Penneys and Walgreens - all occasional necessities after traveling awhile.... more

We had previously stayed at the West Coast Kalispell Center now Red Lion Kalispell Center at exactly the same time last year. We originally picked the hotel because of the location, very central, walking distance to great restarants and the mall is attached to the hotel. Seeing as shopping at the July 4th sales was part of the reason for... more

If you want to stay in downtown Kalispell, I think that the WestCoast Kalispell Center Hotel is the best place to stay. I've stayed there two times, the most recent being at the end of February, 2006. You are within walking distance of downtown restaurants, bars, museums, etc. and the hotel is quiet (something I really value) and the rooms... more

extremely expensive.way overpriced. rooms were extremely clean, There were enough towels and the toiletries were of decent quality. Their housekeeping staff is to be commended. One disappointment ( Besides the astronomical price) was the short pool hours. We arrived rather late, and had to check in and find food( not an easy thing to do in kalispel after 8pm). By... more

This is a tired looking hotel that has seen better days. The carpets look old and the hallway is dark. The indoor pool is cold and everything about the hotel shouts early 80's. However, the room is clean and the beds are comfortable. If you are staying for just a night as we were, that is fine. Otherwise, you might... more

The $180 a night for 9 nights in a 3rd floor suite didn't necessarily hurt my wallet, but I sure don't feel like I got what I paid for. To begin with, we were locked out of our room when we returned from our daily tourist excursions each evening, for the first three nights; because the front desk only programmed... more
