Our 37-member Grand Circle Travel tour had dinner at what I later learned is also a B&B, as well as a working ranch. Two cowboys atop horses and carrying flags greeted the motor coach. Our group had a tour of the ranch: cattle, bison (not buffalo), horses…you name it. Although we came for dinner, one of the bison eyed me... More

Thank you so much for your wonderful review of our ranch. We are so happy you enjoyed yourself to that extent. We love people but most of all we are the happiest when our guests are happy. Please visit us again! More

This B & B is a working ranch with buffalo, cows, calves, bison, horses, chickens, and wild turkeys, not to mention dogs and cats. The catch is that the owner loves animals and many of these are "rescues". None are raised for food, except for chicken eggs. We stayed in the Western room in the main house. The hosts were... More

Good clean room, thought the antique clock would bother me, but it didn't. Only B&B ever where I could order what I wanted for breakfast. Breakfast was lots, and good. Horses, long horns, buffalo, wild turkeys, they had a farm full. Dark at night, quiet, and restful. Would go back.

We stayed here late August in the 'Gus' cabin. Our cabin was beautiful and large enough for the four of us. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom clean, well stocked and a good size. Unfortuntely it does turn very cold at night and before we left the cabin to head out for supper my husband had left the... More

My husband and I did not stay at the ranch but we did go for dinner and show. Wow what a great evening. The food was very good as well as the service. They had one man playing a guitar and of course it was western. Back to the days of Roy Rogers, Gene Autry , Gabby Hayes etc etc.... More

We were in the 'Victorian Room' in the main house. We had become accustomed to hotels and motels with en suite bathrooms, so it was a bit of a shock to have a shared bathroom with no lock on the door This was the owner's house, and it was a bit of a 'Blackpool Landlady' situation. They didn't want their... More

It's taken while to respond to your review as I wanted to give it sufficient thought before responding. First, I have no idea what a "blackpool landlady" is - a British term I would imagine, so must let it go. I think the main disagreement you had I agree with. Our ranch is very different and it wasn't for you.... More

Our night at Lonesome Dove Guest Ranch was an opportunity to reside in a teepee (with two single beds and a portapotty). Also offered are rooms or cabins with a bathroom. All included a hearty "home cooked" breakfast as part of the price of the stay. The ranch is located several, easy to get to, miles outside of Kalispel. It... More

Traveling north to the Glacier National Park, we booked one night in a teepee at the Londesome Dove Guest Ranch in Kalispell as the price seemed reasonable compared to other accommodations in the area. The teepee was offered with single beds on a frame, so we thought, why not experience some "Glamping"--Glamour camping. Upon arrival, we were informed that we... More

Booked this guest ranch for 2 nights based on Trip Advisor reviews. Lonesome Dove was our final 2 nights of a Glacier National Park trip. Our stay was average at best. I am sharing this information with others in hopes they will receive the stay they are seeking. We chose a cabin. Tipis and tents are also available. The cabin... More

We didn't actually stay at the ranch, but rather did their trail ride! The ranch was located on 26,000 acres and we did breakfast in the dining room prior to our morning departure for our 2 hour ride. Everyone we encountered was so nice.. Sharon and Noel especially. I would highly recommend this place as it was truly authentic.
