We stayed for two nights to explore a bit of Glacier National Park on snowshoes. Our lodge room was very clean and had a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, so we were able to prepare our own breakfasts and pack lunches for the day. The front desk clerk, Tiana, was very considerate and made several phone calls to (successfully) resolve a... More

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting GNP, about 5-10minutes from the west entrance. We stayed in the end unit of the cabins up front (closest to the lodge). Was nice to sit out front of the room at night. The rooms were very spacious, beds were comfy. The shower stall was very small (narrow) but worked for quick... More

Very nice family run business. We had booked a lodge room but when we got there I asked about cabins. The gal at the desk said the only thing available was a family cabin (two bedrooms). We looked at the lodge room and it was small but nice. I asked about the price on the family cabin and she offered... More

We were upgraded to a room in the lodge, which is very rustic and cozy. Our room was a little dark with only one small window in the door out to the balcony, but that is to be expected because of the history of the structure. The room was clean and had a microwave, coffee maker and fridge. There are... More

Nice location. It was an easy drive to the west glacier side of the park. Griz cabin was better than expected. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonably close to restaurants. Nice quiet cabin. We would stay here again.

We stayed at the Bowman Cabin at Tamarack Lodge for 4 days in August and used it as our base camp to explore Glacier National Park. It was clean, spacious and well-appointed. We enjoyed being able to prepare our own meals, relax on the decks and look out over the woods behind the cabin. We also enjoyed the BBQ dinner... More

I stayed there on very hot days and was glad that the staff knew to keep the curtains pulled to keep out the heat. There were instructions on how to keep the room as confortable as possible. It had a fan , a refrigerator and TV with Satellite reception. The room was comfortable, comfortable bed. The smallest showers I have... More

THE GOOD...near Glacier National Park, friendly hosts, nice lodge for one or two nights..... THE BAD....I regret staying as long as we did... OUR FAULT....housekeeping consisted of set of clean towels delivered everyday, no sweeping of floors, cleaning of bathroom ect. ....SAME breakfasts every single day, not at 7:30 or 8 but hurriedly put out as late as 8:15.

Although our room was clean and spacious and contained a nice size refrigerator (unlike the tiny shower stall), I would only cautiously recommend this lodge. We stayed for four nights, and every morning it was the same breakfast... White bread, white bagels, and four cold cereals. No yogurt, no granola, nothing worth waiting for...since breakfast and coffee were not put... More

We stayed in cabin 4 (end unit) on 8/24/13. We we happily surprised with the accommodations - plenty of room, very clean and a good breakfast. The large refrigerator in room was nice for our picnic lunch items. There is a nice dining area in the main lodge with a good selection of cereals, breads, yogurts, granola and very good... More
