Appeared to be a cute place, the staff was nice. I do not recommend staying in the main lodge. The room we stayed in was not well ventilated and the only window was in a small door that led out to a balcony that looked like it had not been cleaned in a month. It was very noisy since the... More

It was bearable, but disappointing in several ways. Talked to the owner to make the reservation and although I thought I asked all the right questions (having been iin the hospitality industry), I obviously forgot a few things that I thought were givens. There was no A/C and there were noisy fans "Everywhere" - In the halls, on the stairs,... More

Whilst we do aim to exceed our guests'expectations in all areas, it is unfortunate that we were not fully able to satisfy this guest on this occasion. In order to address the points raised in her review I am happy to clarify this situation for future guests who may have concerns over the comments made. Firstly, our lodge is over... More

We stayed at the Historic Tamarack Lodge for one night during our trip through Montana. Despite being located on the highway, this is an incredibly welcoming and well-run place. The front row of cabins face the road and can be noisy, but the cabins further in the woods are definitely more private and quieter. The Beaver Pond walk was lovely... More

It is a wonderful place to stay if you are planning to visit Glacier National Park. Our cabin was comfortable and great value for money and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Lodge has a cafe, bar and restaurant and their new chef made the most amazing smoked ribs!!

It is an easy drive to the west side of a Glacier National Park. The couple's cabin has everything needed for a comfortable stay. It has a well stocked kitchen, and it even has a dishwasher! We also enjoyed using the BBQ. The heater and shower are top notch. All in all, a great place to stay when visiting the... More

The Historic Tamarack Lodge is an excellent place to stay for these reasons. First, it approximately a 10 minute drive to the Apgar Visitor Center just inside Glacier NP. Second, the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Third, the lodging is a great value for the accommodations.

We stayed for two nights to explore a bit of Glacier National Park on snowshoes. Our lodge room was very clean and had a microwave, fridge, and coffeemaker, so we were able to prepare our own breakfasts and pack lunches for the day. The front desk clerk, Tiana, was very considerate and made several phone calls to (successfully) resolve a... More

Stayed here for a few nights while visiting GNP, about 5-10minutes from the west entrance. We stayed in the end unit of the cabins up front (closest to the lodge). Was nice to sit out front of the room at night. The rooms were very spacious, beds were comfy. The shower stall was very small (narrow) but worked for quick... More

Very nice family run business. We had booked a lodge room but when we got there I asked about cabins. The gal at the desk said the only thing available was a family cabin (two bedrooms). We looked at the lodge room and it was small but nice. I asked about the price on the family cabin and she offered... More
