We liked the proximity to the park, stores, and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all pleasant (except that I don't like being called 'Honey'). The rooms in lodge are above the restaurant/bar, so don't expect quiet until after 10:00 pm and the activity starts up again at about 7:00 am. The wifi is intermittent... More

I chose this motel on the strength of the reviews here and it's proximity to Glacier. Hungry Horse is a attractive resort town which get it's business from visitors to Glacier. The Tamarack is a charming property, with 2 sets of four motel style rooms flanking either side of the main lodge. There are several private cabins set behind the... More

Our family of 3 stayed at the Grinnell lodge earlier this month. The lodge has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with some common area by the kitchen. The kitchen has all the basic amenities (Pots, utensils, microwave, oven) you may need to make your stay a very comfortable one if you like to cook for yourself. Star, the Llama lives practically... Stayed with another family of three in one of the family cabins. Four days was not nearly enough to enjoy the coziness of this lodge. A coffee/expresso bar is in the lobby served by friendly staff. We found the staff very helpful in planning some of our activities. Fun activities for kids too. The 2 bedroom cabins have a spacious... More

We stayed at the Avalanche cabin for 3 nights. There was 4 of us staying there and had 2 bedrooms. Cabin was clean and did not look very old. Had a coffee maker, toaster, dishes and dishwasher with fridge and stove. Nice size deck on the back and had some privacy from the neighbours. We did not eat at the... More

We spent 2 nights in a couples cabin in August. The resort is smaller than the map indicates and the cabins are not quite as private as we expected. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The layout is good and we didn't feel like we were tripping over each other. The cabin comes with a full kitchen, all cooking... More

Clean and comfortable rooms but then cabins are best for comfort and size. Excellent location - close enough to all amenities but far enough away that there isnt the hustle and bustle going on around you. Charcoal BBQs are a nice throwback and you can cook uo a great steak! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We have been here... More

We had the very rustic charming "Griz" cabin. The cabin contains a complete kitchenette. Coffee is also provided. The office "cabin" also has a nice bar and restaurant. They have a nice selection of beers. We had barbeque in their restaurant and it was very good. This location is about 15 minutes drive from the west entrance of Glacier Natl... More

I forgot to ask for AAA review when checking in. Went back to front desk to request but was told I had to request it upon checking in. I asked to see manager, but she was behind bar and shook her head, "no." Ice was $2.50 a bag. If keys lost, we would be charged $265.00 to replace because they... More

Hi there! Thanks so much for your review and for choosing us as your Glacier National Park lodging. We do offer a 5% discount for AAA members. This needs to be requested at the time of booking however as any changes to rates at check-in involves credit card processing fees (which often amount to more than the discount given). We... More

We stayed in the Iceberg cabin, very nice, clean and far exceeded our expectations. The cabin kitchen was supplied with everything needed to cook with and the beds were very comfortable. There was horseshoes and other activities under the trees for guest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
