Alameda's is a warm, welcoming and serene place. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is great for the areas public hotspring pools, hiking, biking or day trips. The in-room hotsprings tubs are wonderful if you prefer to soak in the privacy of your room. Lovely, quiet setting where you can unplug and unwind. Enjoyed this property both solo... More

Checked in for a one night solo stay. Room 2, with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Best is the jetted tub with direct mineral hot mineral water. They have bikes to borrow. I was the only guest there! They have a garden and offered any veggies for my use. I recommend this spot for life in the slow lane. Bring... More

This is a step back in time and we upgraded to a suite, which was worth it. The rooms aren't very private so I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic get away. I think it would be nice if they provided ice and soap. There are no tvs in the suites and the owners should spend the money on vent... More

I recently went for a yoga weekend workshop in the geodome on the property. The Retreat was so relaxing from the moment I stepped onto the property. The grounds and garden were so lovely. The entire weekend was relaxing and perfect. Excellent coffee!

This is one of the best kept secret or the last best place in America I found some more than 20 years ago. Don't expect cutting edge Modern facility. You enjoy good old days of Pioneer America where you can totally relaxed, enjoy complete freedom and quietness. Perfect place to reflect your life and set your new goal of your... More

We had hte best stay at the Alameda. Beautiful and quiet country, delightful people - it was like entering a new and wonderful dimension after the stress and bustle of the city. My 21-year-old son and two friends loved it also. Even our old crippled dog loved it. Just what my husband and I needed and we will definitely return.... More

My wife and I arrived in late afternoon, and were greeted very nicely. Our room was very cozy, with a soaking tub in the bathroom. Now these are no ordinary tubs, the water comes directly from the hot springs. One hint, the owner told us to fill only with the hot as the cold water is city water and you'll... More

I love Alameda's because of the charming, extremely clean and amazingly well-priced suites. There is no place like it in Montana and I leave relaxed and smiling after ever visit. I agree with everything in Trish P's review! An exceptional experience!

I took my daughter to Alameda to celebrate her birthday. It was her choice because of the spring water in the room. She enjoyed soaking twice while I enjoyed the relaxing time reading. Our room was quaint, very clean, cozy and warm on a night of heavy snow. Hospitality was wonderful, also.

The Alameda is a wonderful, traditional, independently run motel. There are a few modern style rooms, but the charm is in the older suites that come complete with large soaking tubs and kitchenettes. Manager/owner Paul provides genuine hospitality, fabulous coffee & home made sweet bread in the morning. Add a visit with the in-house masseuse Kathy, and you'll be patting... More
