The owners here were excellent and appreciative of their guests. The house is old, historic, creaky, quirky, beautiful, classy and a bit creaky! The room was clean and included a small TV and plenty of places to sit and relax. EASY walking distance to Helena's neat downtown where you can walk along the mall area and check out several places... More

The Barrister B & B, which used to be a residence for the diocese of Helena, is a lovely, relaxing place. We took over the house for a small, family reunion, complete with dog who had the run of the house. Breakfasts, prepared by Nick, are both healthy and tasty. His sister LeAnn does most everything else, and does it... More

Lovely restored Victorian Bed and Breakfast. Each room is filled with beautiful antiques. Thanks, Nick and Leanne, for making our stay so delightful! Loved the wine and cheese and conversation at "happy hour."

Nick the owner is charming and looks like William Shatner. Sadly, I didn't meet him until the next morning. When I arrived, no-one was around, I walked throughout the property and finally found his sister. She checked me in, showed me my room, told me it was haunted and then disappeared again. I'm not one who worries about ghosts, but... More

Wonderful B&B with lots of character. We stayed in the Morning Room which was bright and airy with beautiful old furniture and fittings. Nick and Leanne, the owners, were extremely welcoming and even put on drinks and canapés every evening on the veranda for the guests. Breakfast was lovely, everyone sitting at a communal table which we loved. Right next... More

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon around 5 pm, which was right in the middle of what we thought was supposed to be the "wine and hors d'oeuvres". After letting ourselves in the opened screen door, we poked around the silent downstairs a bit to try and figure out how to check in. We finally went back outside to ring... More

During a recent vacation, we stayed with Nick and Liane at the beautiful Barrister B and B in downtown Helena. Their hospitality and warmth made this an incredible stay. Their house felt like our house. Nick's huckleberry stuffed French toast is out of this world. I would definitely recommend staying here - it won't disappoint. Tracy and Mary, Oxford AL

My husband and I just couldn't say how impressed we were with the beautiful Barrister B&B! The location is amazing -- literally across the street from the astounding cathedral. What a jewel, and the neighborhood is lovely, too. All beautiful historic homes. Happy Hour at 5:30pm gives you a chance to meet and greet some of the other guests and... More

We stayed only one night, but our room could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Great bed with wonderful pillows and Nick the owner-chef, provided a hearty breakfast to start our travels to Yellowstone NP. Leanne provided us with travel and dining tips. We will certainly stay again if our travels bring us back to Helena.

We stayed in the carriage house for 2 nights, which I think is often rented out for long term. It was fully stocked with dishes, oven, large fridge, washer and dryer, and they were always offering to provide anything else we may need. Nick and Leann were incredible hosts. We would definitely stay here again.
