I love staying here. It is always welcoming and friendly caring staff. Smells so clean as you enter the room. Quiet and so comfortable too. Close to many amenities and access to travel. Great coffee and bagels in the morning too.

Shiloh inn is not updated or fancy, but it was clean and comfortable, very quiet, conveniently located, and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. There is a pool and hot tub, plus very light continental breakfast. The free wifi actually works- in fact it was amazing. Usually when they say "free wifi" you're in for a frustrating night of... Very nice quaint hotel. Breakfast was included. Nice pool with a steam room and sauna. The hot tub was not working when we were there. Parking was adequate. The room was large and was clean. Excellent value for the money.

First needs. .. is it clean. . Yes I'm in. But stay on second or third floor. Got first floor. If you like staying in grandma's basement. If course grandma always had comfortable bed and clean linen. Here too. Steam rooms and dry sauna are nice. Picked Shilo because the one in Idaho Falls was excellent. Wouldn't have stayed in... More

Fair place to stay. However, we had a problem with parking because we were pulling a pontoon boat; pillows are way too fat---bad for the neck so I slept with no pillow; no chairs in the "lobby" which serves also as the breakfast nook.

As long as you don't mind the fact that hotel hasn't been updated in a while, this is a fine place to stay, and more affordable than most Helena hotels with an indoor pool (at least through Priceline). It is a 2-star hotel, though, so you can't set your expectations too high! The room was typical size, had a desk,... More

A friend and I stayed here on a road trip from Seattle to Yellowstone. We hadn't planned the stops between. We were tired and just needed a place to sleep where I could have my dog. I took a chance on Priceline and got the Shilo Inn. I hadn't seen a Shilo Inn in forever. It looked like a hotel... More

Dear remeroo, Our hotel in Helena does still use real keys! Many guests like using a key rather than a key card that may or may not work. Updates to the hotel are being done gradually. Our hotel is clean with clean guest rooms and a sparkling clean indoor pool. I thank you for taking the time to review the... More

First impressions weren't good, as the parking lot is oddly configured and quite small for a hotel of this size. Vans and larger vehicles might be better off parking on street than trying to navigate it while crowded. Upon getting into our room (117), we noticed that the older television changed from color to black-and-white, and the signal appeared to... More

Dear Roadtrippin 406, Thank-you for your comments about your stay in Helena. The television in room 117 has been replaced. The hot tub was out of order for some time as we waited for parts. It is working perfectly at this time. We do our best to keep it working perfectly. However from time to time there are unexpected break... More

I will never stay here again. The property is poorly maintained. The room was cramped, ugly, outdated and smelled of cigarette smoke. Even the mattress smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. Even worse, the bathroom was the strangest odor. It was very strong and very unpleasant. I could hardly wait to check out. Not a good experience. I did not try... More

Dear EchoLakeDenizen, I would be seriously curious about what room you stayed in. I have not heard of any smelly rooms. If you would kindly contact me about this, it would be appreciated, I would like to identify this room and fix it asap. I am assuming that you did not come directly to the front desk and ask for...
