I met my BNSF boyfriend here for the weekend, halfway between home and his job site. It was definintely nothing fancy, but very close walking distance to everything and perfect for a low key weekend to snuggle up and hide away and the 12:00 check-out was nice too. If we come back to Havre, we'd be happy to stay here... More

The room was filthy. When we went to the front desk to ask for towels they had NONE!! The employee working wouldn't get off her facebook, we waited 5 mins before she even acknowledged us. The outside was also trashed. We stayed a night and got a refund and went up the street to townhouse inn and got a cheaper... More

The clientele who stay at this hotel are blue color workers and travelers, as were my wife and I. The hallways are dirty, as are the entry ways. There was mud and dirt inside the doorways every evening when we cams back. Laundry room door is near the lower entry way, and it was always open to expose you to... More

This place is a joke. I went up to my room and found the sheets hadn't been touched. I found what I believed to be public hair on the sheets and pillows. The bathroom was even more horrifying - dried blood on one towel and yellow stains on the other. To make things comical, there was an empty envelope on... More

Read all the reviews and decided to stay here. Got to the hotel they couldn't find a key for our room so they made us one and it didn't even work. Bed sheets had stained blood on them and also the hand towel did. There were cookies behind the night stand and the carpet was filthy. The halls were disgusting... More

We booked on the telephone. When we arrived, it appears outside that it is in a run down condition, but once we got into the room, we were pleasantly surprised. Clean, well appointed, a good room for the $60 we paid.

A blast from the past. The clerk couldn't make our credit card work so let us stay and pay in the morning. Hallway carpets, etc. well-worn. But the room was large and nice, clean and comfortable. The "breakfast", however, was pre-packaged preservatives.

I needed a place to stay for one nite so reserved a room while still 1000 miles away. All they needed was my name. The room I had was clean, the shower was hot, the staff was friendly. Give this place a chance. It's right next to the railroad tracks, but only heard one train all night, and I was... More

This is a good bargain for the price. The room was clean and the evening hotel clerk provided excellent customer service at check-in. I appreciated that they allowed pets. The only disappointing thing was that there was no coffee maker or blow dryer in the room.

We travel to Havre once or twice a year and always stay at the El Toro. The hotel is older but it is clean and kept up very nicely with a few upgrades over the years; this place is an excellent choice when you travel with a bunch of friends. The beds are comfortable and the staff are very friendly.... More
