The office is awful. There are at least 8 cats and 3 dogs roaming around. The office smelled horrible (like cat pee). The park itself was nice. Restrooms and showers were clean. We probably wouldn't stay here again.

The sites are very long gravel and fairly level. There is some grass and a picnic table. There is cable tv and wi-fi is fairly good. We do not use any of the facilities so I cannot comment on them. This is a great location if you are going to Little Big Horn.

Although the women who checked us in was friendly and MORE then helpful, her work environment was smelly and cluttered. I stopped counting the cats that were roaming around free inside and outside and two dogs that also roamed free. The bathrooms were large but no doors on the cubicle..just shower curtains. There were 4 showers, but you had to... More

PROS: – Large sites. Large grassy area with small covered pavilion and picnic table on each site. – VERY friendly and helpful owners. – Large, clean bathrooms – Close to gas station and grocery store – 15 miles from Custer Battlefield – we highly recommend this attraction. The history is incredible We read the previous reviews, and yes, the odor... More

We stayed at this campground as a stop over to South Dakota. When we pulled into this campground we were a bit stunned. It seemed a little run down. We went in to office to check in and almost fell over due to cat urine smell. It was terrible, seriously. The manager was not in there so we stepped out... More

The office smells strongly of cat urine, this should have been our first clue to move on. We arrived around 5 pm and got stuck in one of the worst sites in the park even though other sites appeared to be available. Our site was next to the road (yes, could hear road traffic) and covered with sand instead of... More

We stayed here in a overflow site. The park was full of bikers headed to Sturgis. It is an old property but reasonably maintained. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. The park is about a mile off the interstate so it is relatively quiet.

Family owned and run with a family feel. Ice cream nightly. Very accomodating, but during harvest season you definitely want a reservation. Paved entrance, gravel sites with some grass. Cable was excellent. Stayed here both times when passing through. Would definitely stay again.

We got off to a bad start when we walked into the office, announced who we were, and the owner immediately took a phone call without even acknowledging us. She proceeded to spend 5 minutes on the phone while we stood there. The smell of cat urine is truly suffocating. When she finally got off the phone she proceeded to... More

The site was level and large; the showers & laundry were clean and centrally located; there was an ice-cream social each evening so we got to meet some interesting other travelers and learn of sights to see elsewhere; close to the interstate and gas and groceries and even a regional hospital - which we had need for as it turned...
