What a most delightful & memorable weekend! I was asked to stay a few extra days in Hamilton recently for a client project. Little did I know I would not want to return home to Ohio after my 4 day visit! The glorious scenery, nature, animals and "peace" found at the Deer Crossing B&B causes one to pause and truly... Hubby & I were on 3 wk road trip and found this gem for one night between Stanley, ID and Flathead Lake, MT. What a paradise! We were the only one's there and the hubs watched hockey with our host that night. I explored the acreage (lovely cabins with comfy porches and great views). Saw a herd of elk in... More

Planning a weeklong October road trip through Montana, we were looking for somewhere in the Bitterroot Valley where we could rest and relax, but that was dog-friendly. The pictures and reviews here sold us, and we were not disappointed. The "Montana" cabin is the just the right size for a couple and their dog, and is located close enough to... More

Stu &Linda made our stay so comfortable and welcomed our dog like one of their own. Loved the cabin Montana at the end of the property. We were greeted by a donkey upon our arrival and saw plenty of deer.

Excellent. Great people, great food. The wife and I have been there many times and have always been delighted with the people and the location. Horses are welcome and there are many great places to ride within a short distance.

We've said this before but one of the benefits of owning a place like DCB&B is that guests become friends.. . lifelong friends. Steve and Dorothy are horseback riding buddies, we've taken many trails here in the Bitterroot Mountains together. They had the chance to be neighbors but family keeps them in Texas! Twice a years ain't good enough. More

We began our trip to Western Montana and Glacier Park in the Bitterroot area south of Missoula. This place is about 6 miles south of the small town of Hamilton, up a dirt road in the middle of beautiful "nowhere". Stu and Linda are perfect hosts, knowing when to advise and talk, and when to give privacy. We stayed in... More

Work brought me to this neck of the woods, and hubby came along...We stayed in a cabin--quiet, comfortable, and with all needed amenities--from scissors and corkscrew to an iron! Sitting on the deck, visited by deer, turkeys and the full moon is an experience that will be long-remembered. Stu's breakfasts were scrumptious--Can't believe that a 5-star restaurant hasn't tried to... More

Stu is blushing. He loves to cook, especially breakfast but he wants hearty, full Montana breakfasts with LOTS of food and fun at the table. He tries his best with Vegetarian, Gluten free and even Vegan. Thanks for the review, we enjoyed having you as guests. Montana forever! More

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Montanan cabin. Stu and Linda are such gracious hosts. We felt so welcomed. They were full of helpful information and travel advice. Every morning they prepared a delicious and filling breakfast. Hopefully, we'll be able to return again soon.

We were fortunate to be able to stay in Stu and Linda's Homestead Cabin for one night while traveling through Darby on our way to Salmon Idaho. Very beautiful property, great breakfast. Liked the rustic nature of the cabin.

The "Montana" Cabin has become the most popular these last few years. Maybe it's because of the deer, elk or bear we let loose when guests are checking in? Just kidding.... Our favorite part of the cabin is sitting out in the evening on the deck with a glass of wine and watching nature march by. Montana forever More

Stu and Linda have a beautiful location and personalities to match. We stayed in the Moose Meadows room, but all of the rooms have access to the immaculate grounds and abundant wildlife. Breakfast was phenomenal! It's a must-stay if you are in the Bitterroot Valley.
