Nasty. That's the best one word description I can give for this property. Nasty staff, nasty decor, nasty smell, nasty rooms. I stayed at the Gardiner Comfort Inn about two weeks ago and was shocked at the rudeness of the front desk staff and the inappropriate behavior of the cleaning staff. I had my room for two nights and my... more

Gardiner, MT, the northern gateway to Yellowstone park. It's a small town with a few chain motels and B&Bs. I made the mistake of thinking Comfort Inn would adhere to a decent level of standard comparable to their peers. Was I so very wrong! When I walked into the lobby, it reeked of smoke. I checked into my $158/nt small... more

We stayed at the Comfort Inn Yellowstone North after spending a long day in Yellowstone Park. We arrived late and got up early the next morning to go white water rafting on the Yellowstone River and do more sightseeing in the park. So, basically we slept and ate breakfast -- no time for relaxing in the hot tub or anything... more

I booked this on the fly after a spur of the moment trip to Yellowstone, it was a bit on the pricey side but for last minute and no planning ahead of time I was happy to not have to sleep in my truck. Location is right in town and only a few minutes drive from the North entrance to... more

The location is great -- just outside the North entrance to the park -- but that's about all it has going for it. The room was dark, gloomy, damp and smelled of stale cigarette smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. We had thought of staying longer and making this our "home base" from which to explore the park,... more

From April 21 - 25, I was attending a week-long training in the conference room of the hotel. The training included about 16 employees of Yellowstone National Park and other National Park Service units in the area. During our lunch break one day, I wanted to heat up my food, so I went to the dining area, but I didn't... more

Due to this being peak season for yellowstone had trouble finding hotels and this was a last resort. The rooms were cool and the hotel was in an okay location. The "pools" they advertise are actually three whirlpools and one was not in working order. The other two looked filthy that we decided not to use. They did not have... more

After staying two nights in Red Lodge, Mt. we decided to get closer to the Yellowstone Park. When we arrived not knowing what to expect, it did kind of surprise me. The hotel was very dark inside and the front desk people weren't very friendly. My account had already been charged the day I called for the room with no... more

We stayed here for two nights. Our room was large with three double beds, including separate room for the adults. The room was reasonably clean and had two TVs. We were on the second floor so we could hear noise from upstairs. Restaurant is closed on Sundays ??? Don't bother with the breakfast. It's crap. This review doesn't sound very... more

After spending the nights in double beds in cabins in Yellowstone this is paradise. We had a family room so we were very happy to have a comfortable king size bed the kids had comfortable beds as well. The place was clean and check in was friendly. Although they did tell us that the free breakfast was no longer free... more
