The hotel was in a great location to the North Entrance to the park. The hotel outside was dated but the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Very quiet place to spend a night. I had a river view room. The free breakfast was very good and was in the main restaurant on the grounds. Overall a great... More

My photography group stayed here for three nights and the rooms are clean and adequate although slightly dated compared to other BW hotels. There is no elevator so get a downstairs room if you can. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff were particularly friendly. I would recommend it if you are staying in Gardiner as I... More

Location, Location, Location. I would guess from April to Nov would be the only times you would catch me here. If you know anything about Yellowstone. It's that its big with many miles of slow speeds. Hence, this is a perfect resting place. It's not fancy but it's clean and the Food is great. It has a fridge in every... More

This hotel is a great choice to stay while visiting Yellowstone if you cannot stay in the park. The location is excellent, less than five miles from the Northern entrance to the park. The free breakfast is in the restaurant and, for us, was our choices from the menu up to $7.95 per person. That covered almost everything.

Hotel was what you would expect. Nice to have a pool but it was very outdated. Still was a great little spot to get some of that extra energy out of the kids before bed. The stand out for us was the cook at the attached restaurant "Rusty Rail". He was very friendly and hooked up my 2 kids with... More

Clean, neat, and totally functional. We were there two nights sandwiched in by days spent touring Yellowstone on snowmobiles. The HOT TUB was great. Wildlife, deer, elk, and antelope, were easily seen from the parking lot. Evening meals at the restaurant, superb.

This is a very nice older hotel that is well maintained. The staff is warm and welcoming. Gardiner is a small tourist town, and I wasn't looking for or expecting the Ritz. The room was nicer than I expected, it was clean, and the beds were comfortable. There was a microwave and small refrigerator in the room and hair dryer... More

Very pleasant staff, helpful and attentive. Older facility, VERY loud creaky floor in my upstairs room, no on-site breakfast. I could not partake since they did not serve in adjoining restaurant before 6:30 and I need to leave early for my daily business visits to Yellowstone. Coffee available in downstairs room in pot on hot plate not always fresh. Facility... More

Recently moved to the West Coast and just took my first trip up to Mammoth. It was a last minute trip so needed to find something at short notice. The Best Western was very reasonable so wasn't expecting too much, but the property and location were perfect. Large, clean rooms, friendly staff, restaurants & a coffee shop close by, and... More
