If I could, I'd rate this 3.5 stars, since it was a little better than average, but not quite very good. We arrived in the late afternoon and there was a line at check in. The desk staff were very friendly and moved people through quickly. There was a deer in the parking lot and elk across the river. It... More

This place is great. Beautiful mountain and river views, WONDERFUL FRONT DESK AGENTS, great free breakfasts, and proximity to North Yellowstone sights. The rates were very reasonable, the rooms were clean and neat and I would highly recommend this place for families and individuals.

Very close to north entrance to Yellowstone. All motels in Gardiner are a bit high in price so we picked this one because Best Western to use gift card. Front desk person was friendly and room was good and clean. Had a view of the mountains and river but not really much to see. Included breakfast buffet at adjoining restaurant... More

Cleaning staff changed while we were there. However, the room was never cleaned thoroughly. Was there for 10 days. Bathroom floor was never cleaned, sheets were never changed, and enough dust on the furniture to leave notes to each other. When we left in the morning, the pillows were propped up on the headboard. When we returned the bed was... More

Very friendly and helpful staff. We had packages mailed to the hotel to meet us there so we asked a little more than the typical guest - no problems there. Pool with hot tub and sauna could stay open another hour, especially since there were always people getting thrown out at closing time. Our first room smelled like dog, but... More

Very nice room with good view of river and mountains. Room was very quite with no outside noise. Staff was friendly and always available for assistance. Room was clean. Did not have any problems with the room.

Stayed at in this small western type town after a day in Yellowstone. Staff extremely friendly. Property has been renovated but still showing it's age. The ground fault breaker next to sink was yellow with age but the face plate was fairly new. No writing pad/pen. Fan in bathroom sounded like a plane taking off. Floor squeaked in front of... More

At first sight the hotel looked dated, but the location could not have been better for our purposes. Upon entering the hotel my view changed, the rooms are updated and the beds were awesome. Our room smelled a little stall upon entering, the cleaning woman was in the hall and immediately helped me out. The hotel has it's own restaurant... More

Upon driving into the Best Western parking lot, I thought what did we get ourselves into? Much to our happiness we found it clean and comfortable. The beds were good and the pillows were great. We took advantage of the pool for a little lap swimming and had it to ourselves in October. The service was great and friendly. One... More

My Mom and Aunt were last in Yellowstone together in 1952 as little girls on a family trip. Now that my Aunt is retired, they decided they wanted to return. I was able to book this hotel and the Old Faithful Inn through Xterra (the Yellowstone National Park accomidations folks). Greg with Xtrerra was great! He managed to find us... More
