We have stayed here for the past 8 yrs and have recommended it to all our friends and family. Service is great and the rooms our very clean and the managers go above and beyond to accommodate you. I wouldn't stay anywhere else!!!

Not a 5 because of spectacular rooms and a deluxe bathroom --- this is a simple hotel without even a big flatscreen TV.... But, having gone to Yellowstone nearly every year for the last 6 yeas, it is an exciting find for me. The alternative within the park is Mammoth Hotel, which, frankly, is noisy, overcrowded, cramped.... I always dreaded... More

The room itself was OK but nothing special. Hard to find the place and parking can be a problem.

Our annual journey to Yellowstone National Park during the elk rut was nothing less than spectacular. Our arrival to the property was late - we were the last one "to be accounted for" and the downside - there was no where to park. BUT...as I was cleaning out the travel trash and gathering up items to take up the stairs... More

Great views of Yellowstone Park and it has a "backyard" on the Yellowstone River with panoramic views or Gardiner. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They are pet friendly....even to our pet squirrel who was with us. The deer and buffalo walk right by at night and early mornings and it is so peaceful yet close to the quaint... More

Nice location in a great town. Stayed in the older wing. Rooms were spacious and clean. I say rooms because we added a night and had to switch rooms. This was no problem. The housecleaning staff moved our bags etc. while we were fishing. Very nice. Only slight negative was the showerhead height - about neck high on a 6... More

We had chosen this motel for our visit to the northern part of Yellowstone Nat. Park. And this was excellent. Just a few minutes from the park entrance and Mammoth Lake. All amenities we needed were in the the room. We slept very good and had all the space we wanted. Compared with a lodge in the National Park we... More

The location can't be beat - Yellowstone Park is literally across the street. Gardiner is a small town, and this is small town motel. The owners are friendly, the room was clean and quiet, wi-fi is free - I'd happily stay there again.

We stayed in a room right up against the river. These rooms were built in the 40's and it shows. Small, simple, quaint bathrooms. But very clean, family owned, and great location. We were happy with our stay and would book a room here again.

The motel itself was fine. One reason we chose the Yellowstone River Motel for our lodging was because it was "pet friendly" and we were traveling with a dog. There was a policy of not leaving pets unattended (as well as the fact that it is common courtesy), so we stayed in the room for the evening. The 'next door... More
