We stayed in the Cottage Suite for four nights while we toured Yellowstone and Paradise Valley. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean. Greg was very helpful in answering our questions and directing us to little known areas "off the beaten path." We enjoyed the "above ordinary" continental breakfasts. Just a great place to stay.

For a last minute find it was a great deal. I found Greg's suggestions very helpful where to go in the Park. I had only 24 hrs, because I was in the area for a conference/ business meeting. That way I got the maximum out of the Park. Rooms are a bit pricey. Location is fab though, right next to... More

The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and loved the little kitchenette. Our hosts were wonderful and made sure we were very comfortable. There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning.

We found a very clean room with a great view, porch with view of Electric Mountain and more for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Greg is very available with suggestions. The small breakfast (the bagels and juice were great) area makes chatting with other guests an interesting, informative plus.

The Yellowstone Basin Inn made it to the top of our list of vacation highlights. I celebrated by 30 birthday at the Inn and Greg was amazing. I got a small birthday candle in a small cake, and he helped to make this day a really great and special day for me. For us the Inn was a great place... More

The innkeepers, Greg and Sabina Strauss, went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. The Yellowstone Basin Inn is located in a postcard setting--surrounded by mountains and across from the Yellowstone River. The suite we stayed in was immaculate and beautifully appointed. One of the biggest draws of this Inn is the proximity to the North entrance... More

This is a lovely Inn with a beautiful mountain view - and CLOSE to the Park. We were greeted by Greg who couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful - Need an icepack for your sore knee? Need a cooler for the day's excursions? Or how about a cold drink when you arrive? They've got it. Not to mention the... More

Our 4 night stay at the Yellowstone Basin Inn was perfect. The Rainbow Trout room was large, clean, and quiet. The setting of the inn is very peaceful and the view from the porch of Electric Peak is spectacular. Beyond a convenient and comfortable place to stay Greg made our visit special with his engaging personality, great tips/advice on anything... More

Yellowstone Basin Inn is a hybrid hotel / B&B at the northern gateway to Yellowstone National Park. It's nestled on a scenic hillside that looks across US 89 to the Yellowstone River and to mountains beyond. The inn offers 11 widely varying room selections, from which we chose the Yellowstone Suite: roomy, spotlessly clean, comfortable, pet-free, smoke-free and the perfect... More

Our nights here were among the highlights of our trip. Gregg is an excellent host, offering dining recommendations and travel information as well as housing us in a very clean and spacious suite. This inn, five miles outside of town, is well worth the drive and the cost. The atmosphere here calms the weary traveler and one departs feeling refreshed... More
