My daughter and I stayed there for three days at the end of September. Located a few miles outside the north entrance to Yellowstone, it is very convenient and just far enough away from the crowds. Greg and Sabina were gracious hosts and Greg's advice and recommendations re Yellowstone and the surrounding areas were invaluable. His tips saved us time... More

With the help of previous reports on Trip Advisor we were delighted to have the 3 day stay at YBI. Greg was amazing with his detailed schedule for each day & we were lucky to have such immaculate weather to enjoy his planned sight seeing adventures, some of which were from his own experiences, that you would not pick up... Great location for visiting Yellowstone National Park - just a short drive (approx. 5 minutes to parks North entrance) Room was comfortable Breakfast was nice - better than "typical" continental breakfast This place touts its environmentally friendly / organic approach to lodging & food service, which I was intrigued by. Wish they were willing to provide coolers for your trip... More

My two teenagers and I stayed at the Yellowstone Basin Inn (YBI) for three nights after not being able to find accommodations in Yellowstone National Park. Our room, the Big Sky, was exactly as advertised; clean, comfortable and quiet. In fact, the entire facility is modern, clean and in a beautiful Montana setting. Plenty of room for us as well.... The Yellowstone Basin Inn is the perfect place to stay. While there, we were able to watch a grizzly from the porch (with the river between us, thank goodness) every morning before our hikes and watch him climb into a tree, stay awhile, and then clamber back down every evening when we returned. We watched a bald eagle fly across... More

Our second visit to Yellowstone Basin was just as good as the first! Greg was great in helping us plan our park tours, finding local eateries, and brushing up on our calf-roping skills! The upgraded breakfast service was a wonderful start to the day (thanks Sabina!) The room was comfortable, clean, and fully stocked. Bonus: prime viewing locatoon for spotting... More

Very happy to have followed TA to this quality accommodation. We had the Rainbow Trout room - plenty of space, immaculately clean, lovely linens. Sabina's breakfast was beyond description with more than enough to choose from, making it hard not to eat beyond capacity! Greg was more than knowledgable about the Park, and our limited time was dealt with to... More

Great B&B and close to Yellowstone entrance. Greg the Innkeeper was very helpful in giving us suggestions on how to make the most of our 3 day visit. The chef had incredible food and packed us a delicious lunch every day for us to enjoy in the park. We hope to visit there again soon.

If you're planning a trip to Yellowstone, then include this excellent family-run inn in your plans. Located just outside Gardiner it's only a 10min drive from the Park's northern entrance, and the owner Greg will be able to give you loads of useful tips on where to go in the park in order to optimise your time there. Very comfortable... More

Located only minutes from the North Entrance to Yellowstone National Park, tucked in the hillside, this welcoming location with graious hospitality from Greg and his staff, provied us with a warm welcome and continued attention to our needs throughout our stay. We appreciated being away from the town tourists, yet were just four miles away. The magnificent organic breakfast was... More
