Last September I traveled from Virginia to Washington and stayed in several different hotels/motels. After spending a whole day driving through both Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, I was pretty tired. I had thought to make it much further into Montana, but decided to stop in Gardiner. I had not made any reservations and most of the motels and... More

While a simple place to stay over, the price is extremely affordable. The owner is genuinely kind and helpful, as we had late luggage arrive and she kept for us with a smile and even offered to carry a bag over for me.The cottages are small but its all u need if its a quick stopover before hitting yellowstone your looking for.

Had the whole family come in so four generations at the Yellowstone National park. Great people and really clean rooms. Excellent value for north entrance visitor. We have been coming out for almost three decades now. Look forward to three more. This place is motorbike friendly.

We were so excited to have our very own "cottage"! But truthfully, it's pretty much the same size, layout and looks as a regular motel room. But, it's a tremendously clean place and away from the main road that you won't hear a thing but yourself breathing. Wifi worked well and had a strong signal and there were no signs... More

Spent one night here before entering Yellowstone NP. The rate was very reasonable and we had a good sleep. The cottage's are old but well cared for. The cottages are located right in the middle of town so you have easy access to the restaurants.

We stayed here for 1 night at the end of June on our way to Helena. We arrived early because it had been raining on and off all day (more on than off) Annie offered to cancel our reservation so that we could drive on to Bozeman to get nearer Helena, She tried a Best Western and they wanted $200... I was eaten alive by bedbugs when staying here for a quick overnighter coming out of Yellowstone, as was my 2 year old son. I wrote an email to the owners letting them know about the problem and they didn't bother to even answer. Three showers and I still didn't feel clean after staying here. Stay away.

Great place, friendly owners, minutes from the Gardiner Gateway YNP entrance. Exactly as advertised and clarified through a pre-visit phone call. We had the large cabin w/ 8 people, incl 4 teens/young adults-- never ran out of hot water, hahaha. Great little kitchen, washer/dryer, complete utensils/dishes, air conditioner. The Hillcrest hearkens back to a simpler time, and we loved it.... More

Stayed at the Hillcrest Cabins last week. Four adults shared a two room cabin. My husband and I slept in the kitchen (the bed was OK). The other room had a double and a single. The pros: it was clean and quiet, there was a kitchen with a full refrigerator and a stove, the people who worked there were very... More

Small cabins with good beds and showers (a bit small). No breakfast but coffee maker in room. Fair price. Nicie location. A bench outside each cabins. Walking distance to "the city". Free wifi. Good beds and pillows.
