Beautifully appointed rooms and a very helpful staff. They offer great tips about visiting the park and the local restaurants. Jason was particularly knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with upon check in. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

A previous reviewer commented that rooms are "no frills" which is a completely accurate description. Ours did not even have a set of drawers and the clothes hangers normally enclosed in a closet were bolted to the living area wall. The exterior view and lobby look much better than the rooms. On the positive, the rooms were spotlessly clean. The... More

This was a no frills, family owned hotel that was very clean and friendly. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The rooms were sparsely decorated and rustic but very clean. We stayed on the backside of the hotel which didn't have a view but also had no noise. The lawn out front had a tether ball as well... More

We were very happy with our lodging at the Yellowstone Village Inn. It was far enough out of Gardiner to avoid the hassle of parking/pedestrians closer to the park. At the same time, Gardiner is small enough that it was a short drive to get into Yellowstone. The staff was very friendly. You could sit at one of their picnic... More

We stayed here for two nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The place was spotless, inside and out. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The location was excellent for getting to Yellowstone as well as for my teenagers to do activities like whitewater rafting. My son loved having a basketball hoop to play a... More

Amazing rustic feel with comfy bed. Sustainable setting with great view , breakfast, and price. Right out side the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park but half the price of staying in the park itself. Oh and don't forget air conditioning, something you don't get with rooms in the park. Great place to stay!

We booked here on the recommendation from Super 8 because they were full. It was great. Very clean and comfortable. If I was coming back to Yellowstone I would stay here. It is right outside of the park, so easy for day trips and economical. We saw elk with baby on the front lawn after breakfast.

We arrived very late to the inn from the Bozeman Airport. The staff made sure we had our room key and necessary instructions for our stay. The hotel's location allowed us to take on Yellowstone plus all the other activities within Gardiner. The breakfast bar had bagels and muffins.

This is one great place: from the room itself, to the "hands-on" owners to the staff. Everyone we met here was great!! The room was spic and span, location was 1 mile from north entrance to Yellowstone, the setting was awesome. We watched elk from our room window, spectacular site. The breakfast was a great way to start day, muffins,... More

We stayed at YVI after the first of two days in Yellowstone Park. Being hot and tired after a long July day, we were looking forward to getting cleaned up, getting something to eat, and then jumping into the pool. We found the room to be nicely renovated and clean, but we were told by the pleasant young lady at... More
