So I complained about the pillows in my last hotel. Little did I know that I would offer to trade both my children and a kidney for a good pillow and see myself getting the better end of the trade. I wanted to give this hotel a 2 for the pillow (1 per person given). The views are great, the... More

A fantastic place immediately outside the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park, this hotel was a super base for us when we visited Yellowstone for a week in early July. The staff was very helpful, friendly and courteous. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Gardiner itself is a small town, but the dining options were pretty surprising for the town's size... More

The motel is located just minutes from the north enterance of Yellowstone Park. Perfect for the weary sightseers. Friendly staff there to greet you. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only thing we didn't see was an elevator. If there is one, no one pointed it out and we had to carry the bags to the 2nd floor. Minor... More

Arrived to see elk grazing in the front yard. Very pleasant greeting on check-in and were even actually shown where our room was. Nice to see families playing games in the green areas in front of the hotel. Also nice to see the family/owners around the property working and visiting with guests. We were in a suite, which is in... More

We arrived at Yellowstone a day early and needed a place to stay for one night. We have stayed nearby before so we knew there would be limited availability near the north entrance, especially around the holiday weekend. We were very pleased to get a room last minute and enjoyed our stay. Several reviewers commented on the free breakfast; signs... More

We spent our first two nights of a park trip at this Inn. The hotel and rooms are very clean and the family who runs this property is so accommodating. I also like the bathroom setup where the vanity area with sink and hair dryer is outside of the shower and toilet area. This is important to me when traveling... More

Stayed here five nights. Nice rooms, good beds. Clean, good location, only a mile from the north entrance of Yellowstone. Breakfast is limited however the fresh blueberry muffins were the best I have ever eaten. Very clean, owner is very friendly. This would be my choice for Yellowstone lodging.

Yellowstone Village Inn is more like a home with full kitchen, bed room and sitting room. Very clean and comfortable. A supermarket is very close to the hotel and you can buy anything you need. The first choice in Yellowstone.

We decided last minute to stay in Gardiner because of the convenient entrance to Yellowstone. We called after 5pm. Thank goodness they had a room with a decent price for the area. We toured the north end of YNP and checked in after 9pm. The property is so nice; it's well maintained, obviously independently owned. The continental breakfast was just... More

We could not get a room in Yellowstone Park so we chose the Yellowstone Village Inn. The property is well maintained and pleasant. The rooms are clean and nice (although they are not cheap). We paid $153 per night for two people. The mountain views from the hotel are very nice. They have laundry facilities available which is nice for... More
