While the property looks pretty good from the outside, inside is a little different, it was a bit tired overall. The room was fine though, even though the furnishings were quite dated. Breakfast was a let down however, no yoghurt or fruit or pastries to be seen. The area was large and comfortable. I guess you get what you pay... More

Skip the larger towns for your stop in Montana and stay in Forsythe, MT at the Rails Inn. Continental breakfast included. We pulled in late with our family of 4, were greeted by a friendly woman who called me by name and got my road weary family to a quiet clean room for a sound night's sleep.

In three weeks of travelling around the High Plains states, this was definitely one of the best motels for the price charged (about $88 for a 2 queen-bed room). Forsyth is a nice stopping point - a small, friendly town that is safe enough to walk around. Our room was a decent size, with all the facilities we could have... More

Not a great place to stay. The rooms are very outdated and not clean. Everything is labeled with "If you take this - you will be charged " so I assume they have problems with truckers and hunters messing up rooms. I stayed for a weekend and a month later got a bill saying they charged my card $100 for... More

This is a dying motel in a friendly but dying town. The owner is trying to sell it and obviously isn't doing anything to fix the place up. Mostly used by construction workers and hunters. The rooms are basic and functional. The halls are noisy - floor boards must be very thin or poorly installed. Carpet shows the impact of... More

This place was a big late night save while driving through Montana. We were looking for camping but when it got too dark for that we came upon Forsyth. We were delighted to find this little motel near the I-90 exit and open. Although the price was $90, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the mattresses have... More

We were coming to town to visit my son but needed a room at the last minute. It was their fair weekend but they were able to help out! The rooms were very clean and the lady at the front desk was great with the happenings in the community. We ended up having a good time with the direction she... More

High room rates. Very clean room. Bed itself was comfortable but thin sheets, uncomfortable flat pillows and "indoor/outdoor" carpet (?) hard to explain, but you could hear yourself walk in the room - plywood floor under carpet??? Very, very dated room. Breakfast consisted of generic cereal, toast, instant oatmeal and Eggo type waffles wrapped individually in a fridge. Attempted to eat... More

We usually stay at my husband's grandparents' house when we come to Forsyth, but they were full already with family. Our Aunt and Uncle booked our room here. First, the building is very old. It was clean, and very well-kept, but there are definitely aging signs and that can't be helped. Other than a small leak above the tub in... More

First room they put us in had pubic hair all over the sheets. Next one had a tiny bedbug right on the sheets. Didnt want to keep looking for more. Didnt bother staying. And they charge almost $90!! Ripoff!
