We stayed here for one night at $50 for a small queen bed. They have HD TV and WiFi. The place just suffered a fire but don't let that stop you staying at the lodge. Simple for a one night's stay. Ennis itself doesn't have much to offer especially during the winter season. No restaurants are open after 2PM on... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2014. We enjoyed our stay and the people were extremely friendly and helpful. The main office which holds the dinning room and bar recently burned down In January 2015. The fire didn't effect the motel rooms. I hope they are able to rebuild!

We stopped here on our way to the Big Hole Battlefield. The room was only adequate, but the bathroom was not. The shower needed a good cleaning and some bleach. The carpet was also in bad shape, and our phone did not work. We like rustic places, but this was too rustic.

Found it on our North West visit. I found it cozy and comfortable. The place was clean and comfortable. Good value! The Lodge had a restaurant and a casino. For such an out of the way place the restaurant was good. We checked in, had dinner then went to the casino. Having been in Monaco and Las Vegas the casino... More

I was once taken by this little inn. Modest rates and a really great restaurant. However.... The food on this stay was inedible, not just the steak but the fries as well. The Bartender last stay was a friendly talkative fellow, this go round a lady that seemed to be having a bad day. I did speak with Don the... More

However, I was a little disappointed with the girl that checked us in..we got to town early and she was annoyed at even the possibility of us... More

Check out the photos in the Lodge and you'll see they've been here awhile. Rooms a bit old, but lots of RURAL and RUSTIC flavor. Great food and a good location. Beds are very comfortable. Great staff.

This motel caters to fisherman, but it is less than an hour from Yellowstone and the rate is very reasonable for that area. The route to Yellowstone is very pleasant, with abundant wildlife. The rooms are clean, the water is hot, there is a small 'fridge and microwave in every room, and it is quiet. What more do you need... More

We asked for two rooms together, didn't get it. Also asked for two beds in each room, only one of the two rooms had two beds. Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are lumpy. In one of the two rooms, the hot water didn't work and in the other room the water work very well.

Hotel Impossible contender. Where do I check in ? 1940's log-cabin units that have been reasonably updated. Fridge and microwave. Crowded sleeping area. Restaurant upper priced. Centrally located to many geographically significant sites.
