We are traveling cross country by bicycle through small town USA. Our accommodations have ranged from the outstanding to the not much. Price has very little bearing on your experience. Some small Mom and Pop motels could teach the Marriots a thing or two. The Riverside is a truly nice place to stay. The positives: The property is clean and... More

We parked our 40' mh in site #5 July 18, 2014 for 3 nights. This is a small, quiet, very well-kept campground. John and his wife are friendly and really care for the grounds, flowers, cleanliness, etc. in great detail. The town park is next door featuring a paved walking/biking trail around a river. Downtown is in a short walking... More

After another long day of driving, I was getting tired and wanted a place to stay. Was able to find the Riverside Motel, called and got reservations. The town of Ennis is pretty small, but it is a western town that is very neat. Got to my room and it looked just like the rooms that we use to stay... More

Owner was very rude. Originally told us we could stay for two nights and then asked us to leave after the first night. Put us in a spot were we needed to find another place on a weekend. The reason he used was that we didn't pick up our dogs po*p fast enough? Wow. Anyway he's a real jerk don't stay... More

Have vacationed in Ennis since the 50's, as hubby is an avid fly fisherman. This is the first time that we stayed at the Riverside Cabins but it won't be the last. Our room was very clean and comfortable and John and Anne made it the perfect stop over. Make you feel sooooooooo welcome.

We pulled into Ennis early evening and decided to check out places to stay that looked nice from the road. We were able to look at the room prior to taking it. It is in the newer part of the property. It was very clean and comfortable. We were given very good recommendations for dinner and breakfast. While we were... More

You couldn't find a more perfect home away from home. The owners , John & Anne, always make us feel like family. My husband, an avid fisherman, & I visit Ennis, Montana, every year. We wouldn't think of staying any other place than the Riverside. The location is perfect. It is an easy walk to the Madison River, a world class... More

Did a 2 night stop off on our journey to Yellowstone. The place is clean, comfortable and welcoming. It has the facilities you'd expect and is good value. It is only an hours drive from Yellowstone and for us a much better place to stay than West Yellowstone. It is also handy for visiting the town itself. So nice to... More

Ann and John were amazing hosts. While checking in with John at the Riverside, I suddenly felt light headed. I sat down because it felt like I was going to pass out. Ann appeared and asked if I'd eaten or had enough water. She insisted on getting me a glass of orange juice, which immediately helped. About a half-hour later... More

I went for a visit to Montana and I haven't been there in years. The front desk was very helpful in planning the rest of my road trip. The cabin was so clean, decorated very cute and western and affordable price so close to Yellowstone! Walk to restaurants and next door to the huge park with trails and riverside picnic... More
