This location is about 70 miles West of West Yellowstone. When prices were so high in West Yellowstone I started looking for a place that we could stay within a distance that would be just right to make it in time for an early breakfast in West Yellowstone. This place was a great find. The folks were very nice and... More

The part of the motel that we stayed in was an older part, more like and old fashion motor court. We had a nice kitchenette room and cooked our meals in the room. The room "featured" a classic old fashion gas combination stove, sink and refrigerator. Unfortunately the refrigerator was not fully functional so the management had provided a second... More

We had the pleasure of staying in cabin #3 for 5 nights. The cabins are spotless and the property is very well maintained . Found the owners to be friendly and helpful in every possible way. First class operation hope to visit again soon.

First of all, this ISN'T "on the river," but a several-hundred yard walk to it through a local park. It also doesn't effective accommodate large rigs as you have to put them right next to the cabins. Water is shared from a single spigot, and it feels as if the owners are constantly spying on you to make sure you... More

We are traveling cross country by bicycle through small town USA. Our accommodations have ranged from the outstanding to the not much. Price has very little bearing on your experience. Some small Mom and Pop motels could teach the Marriots a thing or two. The Riverside is a truly nice place to stay. The positives: The property is clean and... More

Nine night stay. Three fly fisherman in Cabin # 7. Very clean place. Owners really take care of this place. Beautiful flowers around the grounds. Great price. Will stay here again. Thanks John. -----------------------------------------

We parked our 40' mh in site #5 July 18, 2014 for 3 nights. This is a small, quiet, very well-kept campground. John and his wife are friendly and really care for the grounds, flowers, cleanliness, etc. in great detail. The town park is next door featuring a paved walking/biking trail around a river. Downtown is in a short walking... More

After another long day of driving, I was getting tired and wanted a place to stay. Was able to find the Riverside Motel, called and got reservations. The town of Ennis is pretty small, but it is a western town that is very neat. Got to my room and it looked just like the rooms that we use to stay... More

Owner was very rude. Originally told us we could stay for two nights and then asked us to leave after the first night. Put us in a spot were we needed to find another place on a weekend. The reason he used was that we didn't pick up our dogs po*p fast enough? Wow. Anyway he's a real jerk don't stay... More

Hello, I am the owner of the Riverside Motel and RV Park. Unfortunately not all individuals portray the truth when they are given a little power. This guest arrived without a reservation and was cheerfully given a space for one night. The nice lady then asked if we had a space for the following night. I then informed her that... More

Have vacationed in Ennis since the 50's, as hubby is an avid fly fisherman. This is the first time that we stayed at the Riverside Cabins but it won't be the last. Our room was very clean and comfortable and John and Anne made it the perfect stop over. Make you feel sooooooooo welcome.
