The cabin we reserved wasn't ready so we were automatically upgraded. Hooray! John was nice and we enjoyed our visit as we checked in. The trash hadn't been emptied from the previous tenants but everything else was clean and tidy. Small TV but DISH network is available. The shower was hot and plentiful ... but NO shampoo. Was this an... More

This is the closest motel in Ennis to the Madison River, having a park in between the motel and the river. That location sold me so then it was down to a choice of rooms. I checked out a quaint but small room in the two room cottages and then asked about the newer log style addition. A room there... More

Perfect lodging facilities for avid trout fishermen/women!! Clean, practical and functional at the right price! Just a short stroll from The Gravel Bar which is a perfect destination for food & drink after a long day on the Madison River! Wi-Fi is great if you desire to stay connected to reality. After a few hectic days camping and fighting crowds with the kids in yellowstone, this was just what the doctor ordered...lush, peaceful and retreat-like,the well placed flowers and landscape draw you in. When we went to the office to check in, Anne the owner was very nice, and even loaned my 10 year old daughter a fishing pole and pointed... More

Property is lovely , and it is beautifully landscaped. Cabins are nice, quaint, and spotless. Owners were very nice, and friendly. It is conveniently located if you are planning to do some fly fishing. Restaurants, and shops are walking distance Enjoyed it very much for the night we stayed!

The grounds were beautiful and the location unbeatable. We walked to restaurants and shops and it is a short drive to Virginia City and Nevada City (don't miss these!). The owner, John, was extremely helpful and spent a good hour teaching me to back up my camper and trailer (my husband hadn't arrived yet from his motorcycle ride). I would... More

This location is about 70 miles West of West Yellowstone. When prices were so high in West Yellowstone I started looking for a place that we could stay within a distance that would be just right to make it in time for an early breakfast in West Yellowstone. This place was a great find. The folks were very nice and... More

The part of the motel that we stayed in was an older part, more like and old fashion motor court. We had a nice kitchenette room and cooked our meals in the room. The room "featured" a classic old fashion gas combination stove, sink and refrigerator. Unfortunately the refrigerator was not fully functional so the management had provided a second... More

We had the pleasure of staying in cabin #3 for 5 nights. The cabins are spotless and the property is very well maintained . Found the owners to be friendly and helpful in every possible way. First class operation hope to visit again soon.

First of all, this ISN'T "on the river," but a several-hundred yard walk to it through a local park. It also doesn't effective accommodate large rigs as you have to put them right next to the cabins. Water is shared from a single spigot, and it feels as if the owners are constantly spying on you to make sure you... More
