My wife and I stayed in Rising Sun Cabin A-8 for 2 days at late July 2014. The location is great and easy to get to Logan Pass with 20 minutes drive and 30 minutes to Many Glacier. The Cabin was small but clean and cozy. The restruant and general store were in walking distance. No microwave and fridge in... More

We stayed here one night while traveling through Glacier. The room slept 4 and had its own bathroom with adequate facilities. I would not want to stay here long term, but it was fine for one night. The one restaurant was small for so many cabins and camp grounds, so our larger group had to wait fairly long to get... More

I kept going back and forth of wanting to give this a two star. For the price compared to hotels not in/near a national park it's totally not worth it. When you compare this place to your other options in/near Glacier it all of a sudden jumps to a 3 or 4 star option. Our room (#04) had a double... More

Beautiful setting. Restaurant was surprisingly good, especially considering its remote locale. Hotel is rustic but that is part of the charm. Staff was fantastic! I left my backpack with laptop in the room. Housekeeping gave it to the manager who worked with me so I received it via overnight mail.

We stayed here one night after coming over the Going To The Sun road from West Glacier and doing some hikes in the St. Mary area to fill out our day before moving on to Many Glacier the next day. There's some nice scenery, but I wouldn't want to stay here more than one night. We stayed in the motor... More

Context: Stayed three nights in a cabin with my wife, with two twin beds in side. Furnishings were simply and straightforward, with small shower, sink and toilet in the bathroom. There are two rooms to a cabin, so you share a cabin with another guest, with separate front entries. Pros: The primary advantage is that you are in the Park,... More

We stayed at the Motor Inn, not the cabins. Our room was quite small. Although this was not the cleanest hotel, it was not the worst either. It really was average, but since it's in the park the price for the rooms is a little high. The good thing about this was the location. It was inside the park, and... More

I made reservations late (in May) and I was just glad to be able to stay inside the park because otherwise it is a lot of driving if you have to drive back and forth say to West Glacier or as far as Whitefish. You would lose valuable time relaxing in this wonderful gift of Mother Nature. The first night... More

Being a little bit of a hotel snob, I was leery about our stay at RIsing Sun, but it was a wonderful experience. Yes, our cabin (half of a duplex) was no-frills and very dated, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views from 15B were to die for! The bathroom was a small shower and a... More

We stayed at one of the small cabins at Rising Sun Lodge on our recent trip to Glacier National Park. The cabins are small and “no-frills” but quite adequate, since we weren't hanging out there except for sleeping, bathing & changing clothes. The cost was much less than the more upscale lodges. The beds were 2 twins, which was a... More
