Great place for weary travelers. The owners are on site and were quite responsive to any of our requests. Although an older property, the units are well maintained and clean. Great views of the mountains are literally a 2 minute walk away. There is some lite shopping and food choices with in walking distance. I would definately stay again. In... More

We stayed all over Glacier as well as Waterton Lakes and the was THE BEST! Clean - bright- and everything that you could ever need - coffee pot - electric tea pot - pots and pans - great little automatic fireplace that did a great job heating the cabin - super comfortable beds. But the most impressive part of the... More

I cannot add much to the other reviews: Small place , but cabins well separated, very friendly helpful welcome , up-market comfortable cabin, and a few minutes drive from the cluster of cafes in East Glacier. Definitely recommended.

My husband and I visited the Travelers Rest Lodge in September 2014 during our visit to Glacier National Park. We were met by Diane when we checked in. She escorted us to our cozy cabin among an aspen grove and showed us the cabin and demonstrated how everything worked. The cabin was like a home away from home - so... More

Individual cabins about 30 minutes from the entrance to Glacier at St. Mary. Clean rooms, and after a day in Glacier, you don't miss the tv or radio. It would have been nice to have wi-fi, but the owners allowed me to tap into their signal in the main office. Economical stay as an alternative to the pricey lodges in... More

The cabin was nice. There is a lot of noise....its very close to the highway, and trains run all night long. We had been travelling for 2 weeks and due to health reasons needed to leave a day early instead of stay the entire 5 nights we had planned at the Travellers Rest. The owners refused any type of refund... More

Traveler's Rest Lodge is truly a gem. We arrived at the lodge after three nights of camping and were in desperate need of some comfort and rest (not to mention warmth - September in Montana is cold!). We stayed in the Bunkhouse, and our expectations were absolutely exceeded. The Bunkhouse sits within the property's original barn and was renovated to... More

My wife and I settled into the Travelers Rest Lodge this September and used it as our base to explore East Glacier. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Diane and Bob are the perfect inn keepers. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. They know the area and have great recommendations. We stayed in cabin number 3 and it was perfect.... More

I've was lucky enough to stumble upon Travelers Rest a number of years ago after reserving a room at another location which was so bad (dirty and loud) that I could not imagine finishing my vacation there. What a relief to have found Travelers Rest ! Wonderful cabins, great location and owners that go out of their way to make... More

My wife and I toured Glacier National Park for seven days beginning the last week of August and stayed at three different "hotels" during our trip. Travelers Rest Lodge was by far the best place we stayed! The log cabin we stayed in for three days was far from your typical "cabin" -- it was pristine clean, quiet and cozy,... More
