We really enjoyed the privacy of our own log cabin. Very large, very clean and very comfortable. Alison who greeted us was a pleasure and makes a delicious latte. Unfortunately we were there on a Tuesday night when their restaurant is closed so opted to keep it in the famy and dine at the whistle stop, owners parents. Good home... More

We loved our cabin, the Sinopah! It was huge. Smaller bathroom but very modern, very clean, plush towels. We had two queen beds, there is a table with chairs, microwave, small frig, coffeemaker. Heater/air conditioner all in one unit on back wall. At check in, we were shown around the old train station which is where the office/restaurant is located,... More

Choose this site off the Internet and just what expected per other reviews. A bit of quaint with the 'train station' main office/restaurant. Mara & Ted were very gracious and accommodating. No TV or Internet in cabin but we came to Glacier to be away from it anyway (Main office does have Internet). Cabin was very clean and met expectations.... More

Warren and I were going to stay one night of our honeymoon there as we explored Glacier Park. After the first night and our first dining experience we decided to stay for another night. It has become a special place to us both and we already booked our first year anniversary We will celebrate all wedding anniversary's here because of... More

My wife and I stayed at Summit Mountain Lodge for 9 nights (5 in the Rising Wolf cabin and 4 at Running Rabbit) in early August this year. All in all, I can’t say enough positive things about the owners / staff, lodging, and also the food! Prior to our arrival, my wife had corresponded with Mara (one of the... More

My husband surprised me with this trip, he did homework and we stayed in the Sinopah cabin so we had a great view of the park and the mountains. We turned our cell phones off long before we arrived, although we were told we could get service in a couple of areas. We were greeted right away, given the history... More

I would stay here again. 4 friends going to Glacier for the first time, and not knowing the area's, etc. I stumbled upon their place. Made reservations for the "Grizz" (largest cabin, with 2 bedrooms, 2 queen beds each) Very quiet (late August) and as for train noise, 2 of us didn't hear a thing, and 2 heard the trains.... More

We just returned from a trip through the Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier. We picked Summit Mtn Lodge due to the reviews and its proximity to Two Medicine, which was our first hiking area in Glacier. Ted and Mara were absolutely lovely and always willing to talk when we saw them. We did read through all the reviews and their entire... More

We stayed at Summit Mountain Lodge for one night in the Sinopah cabin. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. Also, we were informed that it will be impossible to dine at the restaurant as it is closed on Tuesdays – something we did not expect to hear after a long hiking day, especially that when we made our reservation, we... We will stay there again when we come back to the area. Ted and Mara are the best, very helpful and take time to make sure any questions are answered. Their restaruant for dinner isoutstanding and probably the best in the area, fairly priced. Beautiful grounds,
