The Glacier Park Lodge is one of the great historic lodges of America's National Parks. That alone makes it worth seeing, if not staying in. If you are coming in from Amtrack or the south, this will likely be your first stop on a trip to Glacier National Park. For us, it was actually a bit out of the way:... More

My wife and I spent four nights at this lodge and wish it could have been more. The rooms are comfortable, the food is delicious, the staff is very gracious and with the Glacier National Park the beauty is unsurpassed. Hope to return for our third visit.

We had to change our plans to Glacier National Park when the Rising Sun area of St. Mary's was closed due to the wildfre. The folks at Glacier Park Lodge were great at finding us a room for one night. We had a double and twin in a room in the Great Northern Wing. We had a balcony that overlooked... More

This historic hotel boasts spectacular views of Glacier Park, a rich, Montana atmosphere, and 100 years of history recalling the founding of the national park and the opening of the American northwest. A two night stay gave my wife and I the opportunity to experience its two restaurants, transportation, and services. On the whole, our experience was quite delightful. The... More

We have stayed at many historical lodges, so we know what to expect. Rustic feel yes, but always with good beds. I had to sleep with pillows underneath me because the springs were coming through. The other bed you rolled to the middle. Not worth the $223 per night! The front desk person was not helpful and barely talked to... More

If you love older, nostalgic wonderful views and settings, this is it! Very comfortable rooms, clean, great beds. The view of the mountains is outstanding. No handicap access if you need it but rooms had decks outside with chairs to enjoy the vistas. Really lovely. The restaurant was also fantastic.

We stayed here at the lodge for a few nights in September. One night in the main lodge and one night in the annex. The annex room was nice except we could hear the people in the room next door as if they were right in our room with us! Plus the constant stomping and thudding from the stairwell right outside... This was our last hotel after a week in the park. The grounds were nice, the golf course was pretty and the flowers were bright and colorful. The hotel had a fair amount of tacky Indian decorations. The rooms did have bigger bathrooms than any other part of the park, and wi-fi in the room. The breakfast buffet was good.... More

No elevator and no TV, but there was Internet connection. But who cared?? The people and Lodge were so inviting .... happy for us to take drinks anywhere which was great as we watched sun seting over the mountains on the porch. Comfortable chairs and beautiful views! Can hardly wait to return!!

Check-in: We paid $200 night for a basic room. Check in was not warm and inviting, very clinical. Waited a while for a bellman to show up to help with luggage. We were excited to finally arrive, but everyone in service at this hotel had a very world and tourist weary attitude and there was a feeling of unwillingness to... More
