I feel bad writing a negative review about a historic lodge, but this was one of the worst places I've stayed. The plus side of this lodge is that it is historic and it is by the eastern entrance of Glacier National Park and the Going to the Sun Road, making it easy to visit the Many Glacier and St.... More

The lodge was extremely convenient to the Amtrak station. We enjoyed unplugging for a few days and the close proximity to the Park. The bar was a highlight; restaurant was a lowlight. The staff was great. Rooms could stand a minor makeover to be more efficient in use of space.

We completed our holiday with two nights at the Glacier Park Lodge. It's architecturally fascinating - the central lobby has to be seen to be believed with its huge tree trunks supporting the structure. In the evening a cowboy came to sing us songs, accompanying himself on his guitar with his hat tipped back on his head - I enjoyed... More

This lodge has an awesome bar and great exterior. The lobby is nice. The restaurant was poor for both dinner and breakfast. We arrived excited about our stay until we got to our room. When I walked in I immediately started to have a panic attack. There was rat poop in a few places, the bathroom was incredibly small, the... More

If you want modern this is not the place for you. There are no TVs or WiFi in the rooms. There is a huge lobby that offers plenty of chairs and sofas with awesome views and WiFi. The hotel even offers evening programs. We had a public balcony and a shared balcony to view the sunrise and sunset on the... More

The hotel lobby is very cool. There are no elevators but there are bell hops that will take up your luggage. There are lots of games and puzzles to play in the lobby or the balconies. The rooms and bathrooms are old but they are clean and its all part of the 102 year old mystic. The wifi is not... More

We were really looking forward to staying here during our week long trip to Glacier NP. Unfortunately this hotel was a major disappointment. So much so that it has been the low point in our vacation so far and we experienced an airplane malfunction which caused us to miss our connecting flight. Although the list of individual items below are... More

I could have lived with the lack of elevators to the third floor, the small windows and the fact that the town lost its water for a few hours, so no coffee could be had. But for the price, they should have sheets that are not nubby and bathrooms more recent than the 50's. On the plus side, it is... More

I love these old historic hotels. Glacier Park Lodge is 102 years old this year. The lobby of this hotel is awesome. They have lots of chairs, couches and tables in the lobby with puzzles and card games for guests to use. There was a piano player one night and a women singing and playing the guitar one night. The... More

What a perfect place for our visit to Glacier National Park! Our family of four adults had two rooms in the Annex. The rooms were spacious and clean (shower was tiny, though, so be warned). Wifi was fine in the main lobby but didn't reach our rooms, and as others have noted, there wasn't any a/c, so we opened the... More
