We initially only rented our car through Dollar, but we are sure glad that we did because that's how got acquainted with Judy and the Sears Motel. She picked us up at the train station late at night, and got us all set up with a very nice and clean Subaru. We were staying elsewhere, but she gave some great... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of July beginning of August of 2014. We had a great time. We were met at the Amtrak station at 1:00AM when the train was 6 hours late. The person who picked us up took us directly to our hotel room and told us to get some... More

first impressions of the rooms might be poor since they are very basic and have not been renovated. they could use a repainting and deep cleaning. the shower stall is rusty steel with no showerhead. soap is provided but no shampoo. the owner can give you a 3-prong adapter for the plug but my universal adapter worked better and was... This place is the absolute worse! We were forced to stay the one night because we had made a reservation but I am still psychologically scarred. The bathroom is disgusting. Thank God we had flip flop to wear in the shawer. It really is a shame because with some renovations these cabins could be cute little retro style cabins but... More

We are sorry that you need counseling after taking a shower. We have reinvested thousands in the rooms each season, from the beds you slept on to the carpets under your feet. If you had a concern, you could have come to the office and had the choice of another cottage or had a cheerful refund on the spot. After... More

I know that National Parks towns are generally rustic and the price for this place is cheap but it's not cheap enough for what you get. Next time I will spend a little more. One positive thing is that the place is quiet. I had one of the smaller cabins, there was only one plug in the entire cabin and... More

This is by far the worst place I've ever stayed. Couldn't even take a shower the floor so gross. Sink dirty and disgusting. Duct tape holding the screen door together. Don't let the cute pictures on the website fool you!!

We stayed at the Sears Motel 4 nights in August 2014. The price was the most reasonable we found at any of our stays during our 2 weeks in the Glacier area. The rooms were not fancy, a bit quirky and dated, but we didn't expect or need all the bells and whistles, as we spent most of our time... More

Bathrooms are atrocious! Didn't even dare take a shower! The room was clean, but the bathrooms were gross. Poorly laid out too. Sink in bathroom right over the toilet. One plug in whole room. Would recommend and definitely will not return.

The owner of this motel was very entertaining, it is an older property with individual cabins, has free wifi, this was one of the least expensive properties near Glacier National Park and was perfectly adequate. My kids like more luxury and were not impressed but I would be quite happy staying again. It was quiet and clean. Can walk across... More

Sears motel is not a luxury motel. But it is a fine place to lay your head down at night. We stayed 6 nights. The Glacier lodge was 240.00 a night, Sears was 84.00. When on a vacation we only sleep in our room, so the money saved on not staying in fancy, expensive, lodging allowed us to do more... More
