Great little place to stay in East Glacier. Run by very nice people and the rooms are basic but clean. Goldilocks beds - not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are a blast from the past - knotty pine paneling and old-timey wall paper. The bathrooms are basic with sinks and tubs that are from the 50s, but scrubbed... More

We came in on Amtrak and the hotel offered to pick us up if we were not able to get our rental car. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Some picnic tables outside to enjoy the warm evening. Very clean, not fancy, everything we needed to start our Glacier Park adventure. Warm welcome!

There are very options on the east side of Glacier National Park. This was a perfect location for us to visit Many Glacier and other areas on the east side of the park. The rooms were extremely basic, but clean and the staff was friendly. We would stay again for the price!

I loved this very basic motel. The rooms were large (compared to the pricier but also very nice place we stayed in West Glacier), the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and the owners (I think four generations of the family on site) were very friendly and helpful - all for $99 per night. We really appreciated that they... More

I began searching for lodging near Glacier National Park and found the West Side of the part very busy even in mid September with very little available. I checked on East Glacier as it was not out of our way and provided excellent access to the park especially if you wanted to cross into Canada. I found more availability in... More

Although this is a very basic old budget motel, it's very clean with a comfy bed and provides excellent value. They provide soap but no shampoo, no AC, no hairdryer, a small bathroom, small tv with limited number of channels and the walls are very thin (you can hear everything next door). However, the staff is very friendly and the... More

This was a great motel, although older, but it was very clean. We stayed for one night on our way back to Calgary to fly home. There was not many tv channels, but they did have free WiFI. Much of the town was closed down for the season, but it was a great stopover place. I would stay again if... More

The motel is very cute, the room is clean, and the staff is friendly. I like small mom & pop type of places, and this fit the bill. I much rather stay here than a big chain that is not cared for. There is a sense of pride in places like Mountain Pine that you can't get anywhere else. I... More

Just about 10-day from our Labor day weekend two-week trip to National Parks, our original booked hotel in St. Mary notified us that due to brush fire, the entire hotel was closed for the season, Thur "Fodor's" travelers Forum", I decided to give it a try, luckily we have 2-night cabin available for 5 of us, then the last night... One night on a solo road trip. I didn't have a reservation and got lucky. Pleasant. Quiet. Convenient. Very helpful with hiking advice too. They called around to find a restaurant still serving dinner. Made me feel like an old family friend.
