If you see the pictures on the Motel website, you know this is an older facility. Please do not expect anything other than what you see. That said, this place is great. The proprietor, Terry, is incredibly friendly and a wealth of info on local flavor. He guided us to great places to eat ( especially Serrano's ) and gave... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Mountain Pine Motel. The people who run this place are lovely, and have an interesting history in the area going back to the 1800s. The Motel is situated right at the entrance of East Glacier National Park, and in a very nice setting with lots of places to walk to nearby if you feel like... More

This is a charming motel in a beautiful setting. We got this place in our honeymoon itinerary and have no regrets. It is calm and you have everything you need. The room was super clean. You feel cozy and comfortable there. The owner Terry is greeting all the guests and provide with all needed information. It was easy to get... More

We recently stayed two nights at this motel - accomodations were a bit different than what my family is used to. Room was a bit rustic and could use an entire makeover in my opinion. It, however, was very clean and well stocked with towels (but no shampoo/conditioner). My kids found quite a few spiders in bathroom throughout our stay.... More

More often than not, motels, esp. the smaller ones are overlook and have a bad and unfavorable reviews. This family run motel is small but perfect for two overnighter and have all the basic amenities. Might look old from the outside but they have some upgrade inside (at least the one we stayed at), it's very clean and surprisingly quiet.... More

If you are staying in East Glacier, and need a great, clean and safe place to stay (and don't want to shell out $300 a night), go stay at the Mountain Pine Motel. The motel itself is old, and the rooms are dated, but the room is SUPER clean, with new linens, cute views of the courtyard, super great location... More

A big thanks to Doris, Terry, Ryan and Cole Sherburne for making my trip to East Glacier Park an absolute marvel! Terry knew all the perfect fishing holes, Ryan could identify every flower we saw and Cole was an adventure guide royale. Doris, well Doris is just a perfect woman. The room was spotless, everyday! I would hang and drink... More

To book this motel from Australia I had to telephone and even though I rang at 3 am (due to my confusion with time zones) in the morning Terry was very obliging and took all my details and booked me in.When I arrived I was given maps and directions for all the walks in the Parks and advised of the... Terry & Doris do a wonderful job of hosting & maintaining this property. It is bit older but immaculately clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are sizeable. Like the other reviewer, we were very interested to hear of Terry's grandfathers tales of settling in the area. He has good reason to be proud of him. Terry was very... More

This is a nice family run business that we had the pleasure to stay for a couple of nights right at the end of their season (end of September). The beds were comfortable; everything spotlessly clean, and the place was quiet. Because they were closing for the season, we ended up staying one night in town (a few block away),... More
