We chose this place after reading the reviews. It sounded like a comfortable, low-priced alternative to East Glacier Lodge. Maybe it was due to it being the last week of the season, but we found the room we got barely acceptable. The shower curtain was moldy, the towels were ragged and the 1960's era wallpaper was peeling off the walls.... more

My parents and grandparents stayed at Jacobsen's Cottages when they came to visit me when I worked at Glacier National Park back in the '70's. They always talked about what a great place it was, and I was happy to find that it hasn't changed. Well, of course it's been updated! But the cottage was clean, comfortable and quiet. And... more

Other travelers had rated Jacobson's Cottages highly, so we booked there for 2 nights - the first after arriving on Amtrak's Empire Builder out of Mpls, and the 2nd the night before our return train. We had #3, which has a very comfortable queen bed on the soft side - we both slept great in it. #6 has a firmer... more

Myself, my wife and 2 daughters in their 20s stayed at the HOUSE(as opposed to the cabins) that is sometimes available in East Glacier. Wonderful facility because you have a full kitchen, 2 comfortable bedrooms and a living room. Not far from the road going into the park BUT at night there's hardly any traffic and the bedroom windows face... more

We booked this after reading reveiws on Tripadvisor and speaking to Suzanne on the phone. We are good friends and travelling in 2 couples. We shared a double bedroomed cottage which was comfortable and very clean. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone - either at the cottages or in the town itself. Our 2 nights stay was very good... more

We stayed three nights at the cottages & loved it. The cottage was very clean & we were supplied with new towels, etc every day. Our kids LOVED the swingset & slide & we enjoyed sitting at the picnic tables & visiting. Owners extremely friendly & helpful. Only complaint was a "party" going on in a private house behind our... more

Nice place, quiet and clean, just on the north edge of East Glacier. Hostels in town for $12, but here you have a 2 bed cottage, AC and heat, bathroom. No food, breakfast, etc, but go to the Two Medicine Grill in town for breakfast. more

Seriously - we felt as if we had been transported back in time when plastic daisy wall ornaments were at their trendiest. We did enjoy staying here, however. The location alone was breathtaking and quiet with the exception of the symphony of songbirds that serenaded us throughout our stay. No phones and a little TV made for a quiet stay.... more

Our party of 6 had the 2 larger cottages (one with kitchen). Both were very clean and spacious. Owners were extremely friendly! As we only had 2 days to explore Glacier NP, we really didn't spend a lot of time in the cottages, except to sleep. These cottages may not be for everyone, but we found it to be a... more

Just returned from a great trip to Glacier Park .... stayed 2 nights at Jacobsen's. The owners could not have been nicer! The cottage was clean, warm, quiet and extremely affordable. We will certainly stay there again should we happen to be in the area. more
