We stayed at Swiftcurrent with a bike tour group. We did have a bath and two larger twin beds. For the price and location, the room was fine. Very basic and dated, but certainly good enough. Hopefully anyone going to Glacier National Park is going to be outside (not inside a hotel room)! There are laundry facilities onsite. I suggest... More

Stayed at Swiftcurrent Sept. 13-15, 2012. Originally booked the cabin w/o bath for both nights. Stayed in the cabin the first night and found it light and comfortable with a sink and table in the sitting area. This was plenty ample for the two of us to use as a base for exploring the park. This cabin was only $72... More

We stayed in a cabin without a bath (the cheapest option) as well as in a standard motel room (the most expensive option). The cabin was much nicer than we expected, with a very bright albeit spartan interior, that was nice and comfortable. It had a bed room and a sitting room, with enough room to spend some time relaxing... More

We made our reservation in November of 2011 for a visit in September of 2012. Swiftcurrent Motor Inn is the ideal place to stay because Many Glacier is the trail head for so many stupendous hikes. From Many Glacier, you can do the Iceberg Lake Hike, Ptarmagin Tunnel, Grinnell Glacier, Piegan Pass, Cracker Lake and the Highline Trail via the... More

We stayed in early August 2012 for two nights and thought the location was ideal and the accommodations better than expected. We had a double bedded motel room and our teenage son stayed in a cabin without bath. The cabin was totally charming, with a divider between the bed and a large sitting area that had a table and a... Instead of staying at the Hotel, we continued up the road to Swiftcurrent Lodge which is less expensive but, in my mind, has more of the feel of Glacier all around it. As we got out of our car to check in on Sept. 7, 2012, there were people with scopes set up in the parking lot who invited us... More

First of all, this is an accommodation within a US National Park so leave behind your snobbish attitude and properly adjust your expectations. You go to Glacier National Park to enjoy the scenery and the outdoor experience, not to sit in a five star hotel, have Sven pound your body into submission and stuff yourself with overpriced cuisine. Personally, I... More

We stayed in a double-room cabin the week after Labor Day. The downside to the cabin is no bathroom. If it had a bathroom, it would have been perfect. On the other hand, we had plenty of space for two people, no shared walls/floors (no neighbor-noise), and a much lower price. If we have the chance to go again, I... More

We stayed two nights in a 2-dbl Motor Inn room and really enjoyed it. Keep in mind that this is a dated motel room in a National Park. If this were anywhere else it wouldn't get four stars. But in national parks the lodging is generally rustic or dated. The key thing at SMI is that it was clean, it... More

This is setup like a motel with inside hall to rooms. Room was very nice, with comfortable beds and nice pillows, and towels. The desk people were outstanding....the only problem is the floors! This is an old building with wood floors, and when the help started walking the halls soon after 6:00 AM it is noisy, sounds like a small... More
