Black Diamond GR&R happened to be just where we wanted to stay (mileage-wise) on our cross country trip. I knew the kids would love a cabin stay like this but I am not a camper and was rather hesitant. After reading the reviews here on TripAdvisor I decided to give them a call. Turns out that the property has just... More

We lived in Montana for years, and never really knew about this place. We stayed in the very roomy and homey bunkhouse, it was so fun! Good people, really neat and beautiful location in Montana. And clean.

We stayed here several years ago on our way home from a 7 week long road trip across the country. We had grown accustomed to staying in places with the usual amenities (fitness center, wi-fi, swimming pool). We saw this place from the highway and decided to check it out -- so glad we did! The owners were so friendly... More

We stayed on night in a cabin before rafting the St. Joe River the next day, what a cute little cabin! Jeanne and her husband were very kind and hospitable. The price was affordable, the accommodations clean, and the location private. There were only 2 of us, but it easily could sleep 5. There was some road noise from the... More

phil and Jeanne the ultimate hosts. you are not a guest you are a friend. ask phil about his classic ford that he is restoring and Jeanne about her exotic chicken flock and her beloved little white dog. you have just hit the jackpot. this couple will drop what they are doing to ensure that you have a positive visit.... We stayed here for one night before biking the Hiawatha Bike Trail. There were 9 of us and we stayed in the bunkhouse. The cabin was clean, slightly worn but comfortable. Some of our group went horseback riding and the owners went out of their way to make sure the first time riders had a great experience! We were not... More

The Black Diamond Guest Ranch was a great place to spend the night before biking the Hiawatha Trail the next morning. Cozy, comfortable, clean and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We had a relaxing evening by the campfire (there is a separate fire pit at each cabin and you can buy a wheelbarrow full of wood for $3.00.... More

This is a small family ranch with 5 cabins, a lodge and bunkhouse right off I-90 in Montana near the Idaho border. It can be reserved in total (large group or family reunion) or separately. The cabins sleep 5 and rent for $60 and up. Our family rented a cabin for one night prior to biking the nearby Hiawatha trail.... More

We have stayed at the Black Diamond every fall for years. Phil and Jeanne are like family, and treat everyone as their family. They are the nicest people and the guest ranch has never been run down or in need of repair. I would hope that people realize they have a life also. THANK YOU, PHIL and Jeanne. SEE you... More
