The Tin Cup Lodge in Darby is one of the most pleasant places my husband and I have ever stayed. We loved it there. It is quiet and peaceful, sitting atop a hill overlooking Darby and the Bitteroot Valley. My husband found some of the greatest fishing ever nearby (the East and West forks of the Bitteroot join the main river just north of Darby) and he had a great time. We arrived tired out from our trip across northern Idaho and the Glacier Park area of Montana, so we were ready for a rest. The lovely setting at Tin Cup couldn't have been better.
There is a main lodge with rooms (maybe 4?) at good rates. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and we were very comfortable in ours. There are also cabins (2?) that are a little removed from the lodge area and very private. All of the spaces were very quiet and very restful.
