My friends and I had travelled from the Canadian Rockies so we'd seen it all or so we thought. Glacier national park sneaked up on us and we were delighted by the sights. But it was made by our stay at the General Store Cabins which made the visit even more authentic. Chuck and Jory couldn't do enough for us... More

This was a very nice place to stay at. I initially wanted to stay at one of the cabins at Glacier NP, but they were completely booked, so this place looked attractive and convenient on line. The cabin was fairly new, well appointed with a kitchenette, larger motel refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, very good... More

We stayed in the "honeymoon suite" because they were full. Glad we did. Upstairs in the back with a deck. The suite is large and more apartment like. The owner is a character (good) and the suite shows it (good). Fully equipped kitchen (didn't use). If the weather is bad you could spend it indoors here very nicely. Chuck's restaurant... More

We stayed last week at one of the cabins here. What a great experience we had! Cabins are located just minutes from the National Park entrance. Chuck and Jorie were wonderful hosts, were very knowledgable about the area and helped us in any way they could. Cabin itself was wonderful. Beautiful hardwood floors and great beds! Bonfire on Friday night... More

The cabins are the perfect compliment to the atmosphere of Glacier Nat'l Park. They're hand crafted by the owner and most comfortably rustic and spacious. Kitchen with sink, refrig, micro and stove top (not dishes, utensils or pans, but owner will help you out if asked). Owner Chuck Seward is THE BEST! His knowledge of the park and surrounding area... This is a very good and comfortable motel/cabin near the entrance of Glacier National Park, as well as close to a good place to eat, the Glacier Grill in Coram. I was warmly greeted by Chuck the owner at check-in and made to feel at home. He gave me a quick rundown on the park and showed me on a... More

I was in the area for a 2-day conference at Belton Chalet and stayed at GGS&C for only one night. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the area (though I am familiar with Glacier N.P.) and to better appreciate the amenities and graciousness of this facility. The location is perfect for visiting the Park, accommodations... More

After building in Columbia Falls with a Global Village Habitat for Humanity group, I was ready to relax. This was the perfect place to stay before visiting the park and the owner was very helpful recommending a place to eat dinner and a good place for breakfast.

This was a great stop for us. The only negative was that Logan Pass was closed the day we planned on coming to the west side of the park. So that meant we had to drive around the southern end of the park. That took a good 2 hours. We spent the rest of the day exploring the west side... More

We stayed here to visit Glacier. It was amazing. The owner is very knowledge about Glacier and how to get them most out of your time there. The cabins are clean, comfortable and environmentally friendly. What really makes the experience are the extra things they do to make you feel like a valued guest. Will definitely stay here again.
