Brandon and Page are awesome people always willing to help out they really make you feel at home. High country is near the end of town so the sled noise is not to bad. Their hot tub is always well maintained. Great people and great rooms at a killer value. High country will always be my first choice when staying... More

My husband, two of our great friends and I stayed at the High Country this last weekend and it was amazing! The owners set us up with two rooms that adjoin each other and one had a kitchen. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the kitchen was fully appointed with everything we needed to make our coffee and breakfasts... More

We stayed 2 nights in Cooke City over Labor Day Weekend. This was our 2nd visit to High Country Inn and the 1st one was good. The 2nd not so much. They put us in a duplex that had a bad smell. I used the extra blanket for a pillow because the ones on the bed were very very flat.... More

Hi, My wife and I own the Motel. I apologize if we seemed rude. I do remember your group actually and it was not 9 o'clock, it was 10, which consequently are our quiet hours as some people are sleeping by then. You all were being very loud and I was trying to be considerate to the other guests. I... More

arriving in Yellowstone on Aug. 18th to stay for 2 weeks at the Lake Lodge cabins we arrived to a fire only a few miles away, after 3 days of being on pre-evacuation orders and smoke that at times was so bad we couldn't see the lake only a few 100 yards from the lodge front porch we decided to... We wandered out of yellowstone on a cold and rainy day and found ourselves in Cooke city. We were sad we were losing an entire day at yellowstone due to the weather but once we found ourselves in Cooke City it didn't seem to matter! Paige was amazing and her cabins are beautiful. If you are looking for a luxurious... More

My wife and I recently arrived in Cooke City on a cold and rainy night only to find the entire town without power.Directed to the High Country by a local resident Paige welcomed us warmly, adjusted the daily rate given the fact that utilities were limited and provided us with a clean and comfortable room. On waking in the morning with... More

Our cabin is warm and cozy. The bed really comfortable. We have been here for three weeks. Love the authentic atmosphere of the motel and the town itself. We ain't in... More

We stayed in one of the cabins. We are used to simple rooms however we do expect SOME service for $120.00. There were no cups in the room. Later we found out from the owner that the mason jars on the shelf were the cups. There was a coffee pot but no coffee. The owner said to bring your own.... More

Little cabins in a small town. Perfect experience that we were looking for! Didn't find it here. Cabin was run down. Bathtub was stained, spout constantly dripping. In a way it resembled the pics, if the pics were taken 40 years ago and Photoshopped. What disappointed us most was lack of coffee in the morning. I notice the description promises... More

Hi, I would apologize for the lack of coffee, but I already did when you approached me at the coffee shop where I was getting coffee as well. It is easy for people to complain and tell us what we should and shouldn’t provide at the Motel, but they never take into account the logistics of such things and that... More
